Main functions of the Shipping / Inventory Lead
Under the direction of the Shipping Supervisor:
To do all stock checks as requested by Sales and Planning
Request stock from other locations when parts are needed
Report work orders in the Macola system and have stock put away
Help do cycle counts
Oversee receiving and ensures parts are being audited against the packing slip and put away in location
Report any discrepancies to Purchasing or Planning
Back up to receiving and RMA processing
Audit stock being put away in location by the materials group
Must learn all the functions of the Shipping Supervisor to back up in their absence
Other duties as assigned by Management
Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
Be able to operate a forklift, pallet jack, walk behind
Must be able to read and write English
Spanish is helpful but not required
Must be computer literate
Experience in shipping UPS / FEDEX / Freight
Be able to work from 8am to 4:30pm M-F
