Job DescriptionDegree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Speech Language Pathologist, SLP, Atlanta, GA

A school-based Speech Language Pathologist can make a meaningful difference by helping students strengthen the communication skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. In this role, the SLP supports students with speech, language, fluency, voice, and communication needs while working closely with teachers, families, and school teams to help students access their education with confidence.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a closely related field.
  • Active Georgia Speech Language Pathologist license, or eligibility to obtain Georgia SLP licensure.
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
  • Clinical Fellows may be considered when appropriate supervision is available.
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and service plans.
  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify student communication needs.
  • Develop, update, and maintain IEP documentation, therapy notes, progress reports, and required service records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to support student communication in the classroom.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations for speech and language services.
