Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for an enthusiastic clinical coordinator/dental assistant to complement our team at Family Dental Center! If you have a teamwork approach and outstanding attitude, we would like to meet you!
Responsibilities include:
Sterilize instruments and disinfect treatment roomsaccording to OSHA regulations.
Set up and tear down rooms.
Treat/assist patients in the overflow columns.
Assist dentist with clinical treatment in the absence of one of the full-time assistants.
Monitor schedules and keep the flow of office moving by seating patients, obtaining x-rays when others are running behind, or help wherever needed.
Educate patients on treatment and follow-up care instructions.
Accurately document and store patient records in compliance with state andfederal requirements, including the HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
Send and monitor lab cases.
Monitor inventory sothatsupplies in treatment rooms/central are stocked.
Track cases and referrals to completion.
Assist coworkers as needed.

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Graduate of accredited dental assisting program (or current student)
Radiology and CPR certified
Experience with Dentrix a plus
