Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Laurel, MT. This contract role supports a K-12 school setting, providing comprehensive speech services to a diverse caseload of students. The position involves conducting all speech evaluations, managing speech-only Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and supervising two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations for students across K-12 grades.
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized speech-only IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Supervise and collaborate with two SLPAs to ensure effective delivery of speech therapy services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports to support student outcomes and compliance.
- Communicate regularly with educators, parents, and administrators to promote student growth and address any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working within a K-12 school environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to handle case management and assistant supervision.
- Ability to design individualized therapy plans based on student needs.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Schedule and Location:
- Location: Laurel, Montana
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day
