Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join HOME HEALTHCARE SOLUTIONS INC as a Certified Medication Technician and support a male client with quadriplegia. We are looking for compassionate and detail-oriented professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management in a supportive environment . This is a permanent, long-term position ideal for someone who is dependable, patient, and skilled in hands-on personal care.

⚠️ Please Note: The client is a smoker. Caregivers must be comfortable working in a smoking environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications to clients in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting their independence. (Meal preparation, Light housekeeping)
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and client care.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, clients, and families regarding medication needs.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding medication administration.
• Safe transfers (bed ↔ wheelchair, bedpan assistance)
• Support a positive and caring environment for clients and their families.
• Full assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  
  

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Medication Technician in the state of Maryland.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of medication management and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to client-centered care.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
