Job Description

Genesis Elevator Company is one of the fastest growing and largest independent elevator and manufacturing companies in the South East. We are looking for an experienced elevator service mechanic who wants to make a career in the elevator service industry. Our unique Pay for Performance system ensures that team members are paid a graduating hourly rate for their performance.

This job is primarily responsible for a service route of commercial elevators. Applicants should have at least 3 years of elevator service experience.

Essential Duties include:

Must be a licensed Elevator Mechanic in Georgia or surrounding state

Servicing and repairing commercial elevators
Able to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical parts
Timely completion of assigned preventative maintenance
Daily closing of assigned tickets with accurate information.
Communication on elevator status with on-site personnel.
Understanding the use of PPE and all safety rules
Understanding of wiring diagrams
Ability to make decisions on your own
