Our client, a provider of Health, Dental, Vision, Medicaid and Medicare Healthcare service plans in the state of California with 4.7 million members and $22.9 billion of annual revenues, seeks an accomplished HEDIS / Medicare Coordinator.
JOB OVERVIEW:
- Position: Project Coordinator OR HEDIS / Medicare Coordinator
- Pay Rate: $35/hour on W2 contract
- Work Location: Remote — California candidates only
- Assignment Duration: 6+ months [Potential to Extend? YES]
- Work Hours: Start time between 8:30–9:00 AM; end time 5:00 PM PST
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Project Coordinator will provide administrative, operational, and coordination support across clinical quality and care management initiatives.
- This role will assist with meeting documentation, filing submissions, provider communications, HEDIS gap closure activities, reporting support, and other project-related tasks as needed.
- Business Units / Teams: Clinical Quality Analytics, Pharmacy Team, and Care Management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support administrative tasks, including taking meeting minutes.
- Submit tickets for access to shared drives as needed and facilitate ticket completion.
- Support sFTP file data uploads until an analyst is hired.
- Process, collect, rename, and facilitate submission of medical records as needed.
- Manage email communications, including Care Gap Reports, to identified provider organizations.
- Support HEDIS measure gap closure activities, including telephonic outreach, medical record requests, and follow-ups.
- Assist with meeting deck preparation in PowerPoint.
- Support data reconciliation activities in Excel.
- Complete other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of HEDIS and/or Medicare Stars experience.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
