Position SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Medical Assistant with at least 6 months of clinical experience to join our team. This role supports providers across multiple specialties and plays a key role in delivering efficient and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Perform clinical tasks such as injections, EKGs, lab draws, and point-of-care testing (as applicable)
- Document patient information accurately in the EMR
- Manage patient flow to ensure timely care
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards
- Provide excellent customer service and patient communication
- Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up care coordination
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of clinical experiencein a healthcare setting (required)
- Experience in a multi-specialty or high-volume environment is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of EMR systems preferred
