Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a School Psychologist position serving a K-12 school near Warren, OR. The role is a contract engagement for the 2025-2026 school year, offering a 32-hour workweek from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The position primarily focuses on conducting evaluations for eligibility as well as completing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP).
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education
- Developing and implementing FBAs and BIPs tailored to student needs
- Collaborating closely with school teams to support student success and behavioral improvement
- Assisting with initiatives related to Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS), particularly in schools still developing these frameworks
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid Oregon School Psychologist license required
- Prior experience working in rural educational settings is highly valuable
- Strong understanding of Oregon educational laws, regulations, and systems
- Confidence working with schools evolving their MTSS models and practices
