Key Accountabilities:
- Operate and interpret results from inspection/test equipment including:
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Keyence Optical Measurement Systems
- Micro Vu Video Measuring Machine
- Optical Comparator (standard and eCAD)
- Micrometers, Calipers, Drop Indicators
- Pull-force and Hardness Testers
- Accurately complete and file quality records
- Manage MRB activities: tagging, logging, and evaluating nonconforming materials
- Support corrective/preventive actions and follow-up checks
- Perform final product release inspections and in-process verifications
- Conduct First Article Inspections and documentation reviews
- Perform in-house gauge calibrations per work instructions
- Assist with validation activities and data entry for quality monitoring
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions and technical documentation
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal instructions
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA CFR 820 quality system regulations
- General understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Proficient in using standard dimensional inspection tools, including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Drop indicators
- Optical comparators
- Experience setting up and operating advanced inspection equipment such as:
- Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Vision systems (e.g., Keyence, Micro Vu)
- Optical comparators with eCAD capability
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on 3rd shift
