Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students in a K-12 school setting. This full-semester contract role involves providing targeted services to enhance students' communication and literacy skills, focusing on reading and written expression instruction. The position is based in a school located in Derry, NH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels
- Assess and address challenges related to reading and written expression
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to support language development
- Collaborate with educators and staff to integrate therapy goals with classroom instruction
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP certification and licensure appropriate for school settings
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-12
- Knowledge of reading and written expression instructional strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and students
- Ability to design effective therapy interventions based on student assessments
