Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current, active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology license is required
- Prior experience working in school-based environments strongly preferred
- Skillful in providing services to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Familiarity with IEP process, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability when supporting diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student achievement
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and required compliance documentation
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings, share strategies, and support inclusion
- Utilize evidence-based interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Create an encouraging and safe environment for students to develop communication skills
