Precision die-cutting is critical to our customers’ success—and yours. As a Bobst-savvy technician on our Minneapolis, MN (55428) team, you’ll keep production humming on a 2nd shift, four-10s schedule (Mon–Thu, 2:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.). Your expertise with flatbed equipment, including the 40" Bobst, ensures every job hits spec, on time.
Your impact (key accountabilities)
- Operate and set up flatbed die cutters to meet exacting quality standards.
- Continuously inspect output and verify conformance to all requirements.
- Execute routine maintenance; troubleshoot mechanical and process issues.
- Collaborate across the team to elevate throughput and quality.
- Uphold safety while maintaining a clean, organized production zone.
- Log production metrics and escalate problems promptly.
- Support onboarding by training and mentoring newer operators.
What you’ll need to succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training preferred.
- Proven background operating flatbed diecutters or similar machinery.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
- Sharp eye for detail with an unwavering commitment to quality.
- Comfort thriving in a fast-moving, deadline-driven setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first approach.
