Job DescriptionMake Every Press Perform: A Day in the Life

At Revere Plastics Systems—an industry leader in custom injection molding—you’ll join a team that prizes continuous improvement, professional growth, and hands-on collaboration. Picture your day: a quick safety huddle, a scan of equipment logs, then straight into diagnosing a hydraulic quirk on a Milacron press before optimizing an Engel’s control loop and closing with preventive maintenance on auxiliary systems. You work independently with minimal direction, partnering with operators and engineers to keep production running smoothly and safely.

What You’ll Do

  • Own maintenance and repair for injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment.
  • Diagnose and fix issues across hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, conveyor, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot machinery and control failures; adjust/modify programmable controls and ladder logic using appropriate tools.
  • Complete PMs on all auxiliaries; document activities and maintain accurate equipment operating logs.
  • Identify emerging maintenance concerns and drive timely resolution.
  • Model safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and ANSI standards.

What You Bring

  • Required: Experience in plastic injection molding maintenance and repair (applications without this experience will not be considered).
  • 3–5 years troubleshooting injection molding and secondary equipment.
  • Solid grounding in industrial electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics; ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • PLC/ladder logic familiarity (ability to troubleshoot; modification experience preferred).
  • Experience with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and air dryer systems, including full-cycle repair.
  • Strong communication skills and reliable attendance; self-starter comfortable with minimal direction.
  • Desire to keep skills current through continuing education.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Frequently standing, reaching, and working with hands; occasional sitting, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Ability to climb overhead structures and work under machines in tight spaces.
  • Lift/move up to 50 lbs on occasion.
  • Vision: close, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Moderate noise; frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Tools & Technologies You’ll Touch

  • Injection molding presses: Milacron, Engel, Sumitomo
  • HVAC systems, conveyors, air dryers
  • Servo motors
  • Industrial robots: Fanuc, Dematic

Your Core Strengths

  • Equipment and mechanical troubleshooting
