Hourly Rate Range: $22.75 + $24.00
2nd Shift Hourly Differential: $1.50

Summary:
Assist Dimensional Inspectors with routine departmental tasks under supervision by Dimensional Inspector I or higher.
Major Job Duties:
Core responsibilities include:
• Load product on the inspection tables or apparatus safely
• Be aware of surroundings and contribute to improving safety within the department
• Be aware of the activities of others to ensure every employee works safely
• Be flexible to work according to production needs in inspection cells: Die Forge & Hand Forge
• Verify piece count
• Verify production parts
• Set up material and prepare product for inspection
• Load product on work tables manually or with a hoist
• Understand and follow identification and traceability information
• Operate Identification equipment and tools including: rubber stamps, deep etch, Vibro engrave units, Bren Stencil specifically for Hand Forge Cell
• Be able to change abrasive wheels/cutters with the use of a wrench on the air grinder
• Learn to use packing equipment
• Pack product for shipping or source inspection
Additional responsibilities include:
• Follow 5S, Lean, & TOC concepts and activities
• Maintain Housekeeping Standards
• Demonstrate flexibility within a fast pace, challenging environment
• Able to work in different shifts
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Meet ITAR and EAT residency requirements
• Able to follow verbal or written instructions
• Able to use Shop Floor instructions to pack product for shipping or for source inspection
• Able to use packing equipment and materials
• Read, write and speak English
• Physical requirements (be able to lift 50 lbs. bend, climb, etc.)
• Be flexible to work according to production needs in inspection cells (DF/HF)
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
