Our first project was the creation of Keystone Midstream Services, LLC in partnership with Rex Energy and Summit Discovery Resources II, LLC in the Appalachian Basin. MarkWest Liberty Midstream & Resources, LLC acquired the system from Stonehenge in 2012. Stonehenge II was established shortly thereafter to construct Stonehenge Appalachia (SA), a 47 mile gathering and compression system designed to support production from the Moraine East area of Butler County, PA. Stonehenge II was expanded in 2017 through the construction of a second gathering system named Stonehenge Laurel Gathering (SLG) in partnership with its anchor shipper, Laurel Mountain Energy (LME). Stonehenge sold SA in 2022 to UGI Energy Services (UGI) and sold its share of SLG to LME in 2025 to mark a successful close to Stonehenge II.
