Position Overview:
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing, in partnership with East Mississippi State Hospital is seeking a full-time Licensed Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients within our inpatient units. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, leadership in multidisciplinary treatment planning, and a commitment to evidence-based care.

Qualifications
- Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency in Psychiatry.
- Licensure:
- Current and unrestricted Mississippi medical license.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology).
- Current DEA license for prescribing controlled substances.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience working in inpatient or hospital-based psychiatric settings preferred.
- Soft Skills: Multidisciplinary leadership, clinical judgment, crisis intervention
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications.
- Provide clinical oversight to the treatment team and participate in case conferences.
- Collaborate with nursing, psychology, and social work staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
