Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for travel assignments within multiple schools in Ellicott City, MD, serving Howard County Public Schools. This role involves providing in-person speech therapy services across various elementary and middle schools with flexible start dates and varied weekly schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students across multiple school settings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress.
- Participate in meetings and professional development as needed to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site; virtual candidates will not be considered.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location and Schedule:
- Assignments across multiple Howard County Public Schools in and around Ellicott City, MD.
- Mid-February, April, and May start dates available.
- Weekly schedules range from 5 days/week to split assignments across 2-5 days.
- Full-time schedule with approximately 37.5 hours per week.
- Assignments conclude on June 12, 2026, with possibilities for extension into the 2026-2027 school year based on performance.
