Job DescriptionJob Title: Assembler - $20 to $21/hr Weekly Pay Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Assembler to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the production of server racks and components by performing hands‑on assembly tasks, working with small tools, and following precise instructions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys mechanical work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and unpack chassis and components for server assembly
- Use small hand tools to install or replace brackets, labels, and other hardware
- Integrate computer components into chassis on a progressive assembly line
- Install screws, switches, rails, and other small parts into chassis and racks
- Apply labels and ensure proper identification of components and cables
- Cable server racks and components according to specifications
- Package completed server racks for shipment
- Identify, label, and route cables based on rack requirements
- Assist with recycling and material handling as needed
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and safety procedures
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with mechanical or production assembly
- Proficiency using small hand tools
- Familiarity with cable harnessing and basic mechanical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work on ladders
- Good manual dexterity
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
