A well-established North Scottsdale CPA firm serving individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations is seeking a motivated Tax Associate to join our growing team. Since 1976, we have provided high-quality tax, audit, consulting, and financial services with a strong commitment to client service and professional excellence. We are looking for a professional who values teamwork, client relationships, and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare tax returns with a primary focus on Partnership or Trust & Estate returns, as well as Individual, Business, and Nonprofit tax engagements.
- Prepare and/or review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Assist with client accounting and tax-related projects
- Maintain accurate workpapers and meet project deadlines
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional client service
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience
- Specific experience with either Partnership Tax Returns or Trust/Estate 1041 Tax Returns
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional, positive, and client-focused attitude
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Preferred: Experience with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, SurePrep, Go File Room, Engagement Manager, or Karbon
- Preferred: CPA License
