Job Title: Executive Chef

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Executive Chef to oversee all culinary operations at a high-volume, full-service restaurant. The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading the kitchen team, creating dynamic menus, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:

Direct and manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, and execution.

Create seasonal menus and daily specials that highlight fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Hire, train, and mentor kitchen staff while fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.

Maintain high standards of food quality, flavor profiles, and presentation.

Oversee scheduling, labor management, and workflow to ensure efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Monitor inventory, control food costs, and establish strong vendor relationships.

Ensure compliance with all health, sanitation, and food safety regulations.

Collaborate with ownership and management on menu pricing, banquets, and special events.

Lead by example, instilling a culture of excellence, consistency, and passion in the kitchen.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a full-service or fine dining restaurant.

Strong knowledge of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine preferred.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage food and labor costs effectively.

Creative, detail-oriented, and committed to culinary innovation.

ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification required.

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
