What you'll bring:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and creating individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong understanding of contemporary counseling methodologies and behavioral intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
- Previous experience in school settings is preferred
Key responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students using a variety of standardized tools to identify educational, social, and emotional needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized support plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive, student-centered solutions
- Provide crisis intervention services and counseling to individuals or small groups as needed
- Assist with the creation of prevention and wellness programs, promoting positive school climates
- Contribute to eligibility determination meetings and assist in compliance with state and federal guidelines
