Job Description
The Operations Assistant/Job Scheduler is primarily responsible for daily scheduling jobs and sales appointments for the organization. The Operations Assistant/Job Scheduler also assists with all functions of the job which includes materials, and makes sure that jobs that are in the “pipe line”, are on schedule from start to finish.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for scheduling sales appointments.
- Responsible for coordinating job schedules.
- Works with the crew and Foreman on the scheduled job. This includes:

- Make sure everything they need from materials is on the job for the crew.
- If materials are not at the job site or there is not enough material, this person is responsible for getting the material to the job site.
- Is a part of process if there is a change in deck plans.
- Responsible for daily communications with the Materials Manager.
- Responsible for daily communications with the Project Manager.
- Responsible for follow through with customer until job is done then hand the job back to the Accounts manager to continue process.
- Responsible for working with the Material Manager on each job for job materials that are needed for near future jobs.
- Assists with problem solving for future jobs.
- Responsible for contact with the customer after new job by e-mail and/or phone.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating all of the schedule system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
