CNA Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and medication reminders
- Provide emotional support and build meaningful resident relationships
- Follow individualized care plans and supervisor direction
- Support mealtime assistance and dining services as needed
- Observe and promptly report changes in residents conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Promote dignity, independence, and resident confidentiality
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols
CNA Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (or CHHA where applicable)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility needs
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or skilled nursing preferred
- Memory care experience may be required for certain assignments
