Grit Auctions is a fast-growing equipment auction company specializing in construction, agricultural, and commercial assets. We run high-performance online auctions through the Equip-Bid platform, connecting sellers with a large and active bidder base.
We’re hiring an Auction Coordinator to take ownership of listing quality, customer experience, and auction execution from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
Listings & Accuracy
- Coordinate cataloging, listings, and photography
- Utilize AI and research tools to generate and refine item descriptions, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and market-appropriate detail
- Review and improve listings for quality and completeness
- Ensure accuracy between physical inventory and online listings (quantities, details, descriptions)
Customer Experience
- Manage inspection days and customer pickups
- Run checkout during load-out (verify invoices, collect payments, manage flow)
- Handle inbound customer calls and questions
- Resolve issues quickly and professionally
Consignments & Growth
- Help build and run Grit’s consignment program
- Work directly with clients to bring inventory to auction
Operations Support
- Coordinate closely with yard team to ensure inventory alignment
- Identify and resolve discrepancies
- Improve processes and auction performance over time
What We’re Looking For
- Highly detail-oriented—you notice what others miss
- Strong communicator (phone + in-person)
- Organized and able to manage multiple moving parts
- Comfortable using technology, AI tools, and software platforms
- Reliable, accountable, and proactive
Nice to have:
- Auction, e-commerce, logistics, or customer-facing experience
Compensation
- $60,000 – $75,000 base salary
- Performance-based bonus opportunities
- Growth opportunity as the company scales
- Compensation will be aligned with experience and ability to take ownership of the role.
