DoD Journeyman Electrician Infrastructure Modernization Program



Pay Rate: $32$41/hour DOE (10-99 or FTE available) Traveling and Lodging Paid For
Location: Various locations (CONUS)

Clearance: Must Hold an Active Secret Clearance


Overview:

Were seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support critical infrastructure upgrades on a large-scale modernization program. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced electrical systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance across mission-essential facilities.

What Youll Do:


  • Perform installation of new electrical circuits and upgrade existing systems
  • Conduct site surveys to assess electrical infrastructure and identify improvement opportunities
  • Execute system testing and validation to ensure proper functionality and compliance
  • Verify and maintain proper grounding and bonding across systems
  • Interpret and apply electrical protocols, standards, and safety procedures
  • Produce accurate documentation, including installation records and redline updates
  • Develop and maintain survey reports and as-built drawings
  • Respond to and support emergency electrical issues when needed
  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure efficient execution
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and best practices at all times



What You Bring:



  • Active Journeyman Electrician license
  • Hands-on experience with circuit installation and electrical system upgrades
  • Proven background in system testing, troubleshooting, and validation
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, protocols, and compliance standards
  • Strong experience with technical documentation and redlining
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Solid understanding of grounding, bonding, and system safety requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to travel and respond to urgent support needs
