At Essence Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine LLC, we are dedicated to supporting each individual on their journey to wellness. With a stable client base and increasing demand for our services, we are actively seeking an acupuncture associate to join our team, available for shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Sundays. Our clinic is conveniently located in the SLU neighborhood of Seattle. Part time. Entry level. The schedule will begin with two half days and expand as patient volume increases.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Have a passion for people and be caring, friendly, persistent, and dependable.
- Treat patients by using acupuncture needles and other TCM modalities such us cupping, Tui Na, moxa, etc.
- Be willing to learn and work hard.
- 10% of admin work including marketing, booking, and insurance verification etc.
- Ability to treat two patients within a single hour.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum one year of clinical experience in acupuncture.
- Knowledge of Chinese medicine a plus.
- Demonstrate strong aptitude and enthusiasm for working with people and delivery of patient education.
- Self-awareness and a professional demeanor.
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in U.S.
- Washington State acupuncture license is required.
- Malpractice insurance is required.
- Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) is required.
Pay structure and benefit:
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40+ per hour depending on experience
Essence will supply all necessary materials and cover the cost of rent. This is an independent contractor position, and Essence will provide a 1099 form for tax purposes.
