We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and promoting oral health. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Our hygienists have the EMS Guided Biofilm Therapy technology that allows the hygienist to efficiently and scientifically clean and remove all biofilm. It is like a dental spa for patients and very rewarding technology for our hygienists!
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy on patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary choices, and preventive care strategies.
- Utilize dental terminology accurately while documenting patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in the management of the dental clinic's systems, ensuring smooth operations and patient flow.
- Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices, including medical imaging techniques and anatomy knowledge.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively, demonstrating attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Familiarity with medical imaging technology is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $47.58 - $49.59 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
