Our manufacturing company is looking for customer-oriented service representatives to support our companys Customer Service department in shipping and logistics. The CSR will act as a liaison to our customers, provide product information, and resolve any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. Our objective is to ensure excellent standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries, and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage incoming calls and emails
Identify and assess customers needs to achieve satisfaction
Answer and make calls while maneuvering a keyboard during research
Maintain and file records in accordance with company procedure
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using proper methods/tools
Ensure order accuracy
Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions within time limits
Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School diploma or GED required
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
1-3 years of customer service or related experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers and fellow employees
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Internet programs
Previous experience in shipping and logistics preferred
Strong team player; quick learner
