Whether you’re going to be out of the office for a conference, a dentist’s appointment, or a much-needed personal day, you’re probably going to put up an automated “out of office” reply in your inbox:
“I’m out of the office [this long]. No, I won’t have constant access to my email. If something’s on fire, please contact my colleague [X@company.com].”
Pretty standard, right? In a more fun world, these are what we’d use instead.
“Let’s get right to the point: Peace out, suckas!”
“I am out of order until further notice.”
“You won’t even know I’m gone.”
“While I’m out, please don’t hesitate to pester me at my very personal email address.”
“I left because I can’t deal with you anymore.”
“Yeah, you’re on your own, sorry.”
“Leave a message…I’m off doing important and highly professional things.”
