The successful Mate is responsible to maintain the appearance of the vessel which includes directing daily activities of the crew, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vessel, and assisting with navigating and maneuvering the vessel; will uphold the strictest safety standards for guests and crew; and will maintain a professional and friendly manner consistent with our RESPECT Service System.

Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Stand look-out watch on bow, stern, or bridge wings to look for obstructions in the ship's path or to locate navigational aids such as buoys and lighthouses</li>
<li>Report to Master and assist Captain in setting up bridge equipment, navigation watch, and ship reporting.</li>
<li>Take a lead role in maintaining and updating charts and publications.</li>
<li>Carry out Captain's orders and take command if Captain becomes incapacitated</li>
<li>Participate in the execution of the Safety Program, including emergency drills</li>
<li>Assign deck crew tasks and provide direction.</li>
<li>Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers as prescribed in our RESPECT Service System.</li>
<li>Ensure safe means of embarkation and disembarkation of passengers and crew.</li>
<li>Carry out regular safety inspections of the boat and ensure that the ship is in seaworthiness.</li>
<li>Maintain the cleanliness, sanitization and safety of all common areas including but not limited to: Gangways, Pier Facilities, Ramps, and the entire vessel.</li>
<li>Load or unload materials from vessels &amp; Handle lines to moor vessel to the pier</li>
<li>Carry out checks on the lifesaving and firefighting equipment.</li>
<li>Supervise and perform routine shipboard maintenance as required.</li>
<li>Participate as needed for the proper maintenance of all ship systems and boarding facilities, including but not limited to pumping in or out of the water (potable, raw, black, and gray) gangways, communications, navigation, and Planned Maintenance system (Wheelhouse). </li>
<li>Assist Engineer in operating and maintain ship equipment such as engines and generators or other equipment.</li>
<li>Ensure that the crew wears the proper PPE, especially when carrying out critical activities.</li>
<li>Report any safety and security concerns to the Master.</li>
<li>Be prepared to begin work at the scheduled time</li>
<li>Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.</li>

Requirements &amp; Qualifications:

St. Anthony Shrine (the Shrine) is a center for Roman Catholic ministry in Boston, MA, directed by the Franciscan Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
The doors of the Shrine boldly proclaim, ‘All Are Welcome', reminding all of the central focus of the Shrine's ministry that has remained constant for over 70 years: providing a convenient and prayerful setting for people desiring to praise and worship. The Shrine currently offers 24 weekly Masses and 19 hours of confession. Inspired by the enduring legacy of St. Francis of Assisi, the friars and the lay people of the Shrine strive to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all people, by caring for our brothers and sisters, especially those most in need. About the Opportunity
The Shrine is the beneficiary of a very generous and loyal donor base. Total philanthropic revenue is in the annual range of $4.5-$5 million through the support of more than 8,000 donors. Key revenue streams include direct mail, an annual gala, raffles, and individual giving. There is significant opportunity to grow and diversify revenue from an already committed donor base.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a strategic fundraising advisor to the Executive Director and is responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships and opportunities that will advance the mission of St. Anthony Shrine. This includes coordinating relationship building to raise the profile and involvement of St. Anthony Shrine within the Greater Boston business community, city, and state government, as well as with key Catholic and non-Catholic philanthropists; ever mindful to advance the mission and to build a culture of philanthropy.
The CDO inspires, motivates, and engages individual and institutional prospects and donors to make impactful gifts, developing and managing a portfolio of 100+ prospects with the capacity to make five-plus-figure gifts, and creating and executing innovative cultivation and stewardship activities.
The CDO participates in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives in addition to problem solving, and works within the guidelines, policies, and mission of the Shrine. The CDO will manage a staff of three.
Key Responsibilities Leadership
• Lead the organization, its members, donors, and community stakeholders to foster a culture of philanthropy for the Shrine. • Identify strategic organizational initiatives to meet program funding, in collaboration with the Executive Director and Department/Ministry Directors, i.e., Franciscan Food Center, The Rita A. DiMento Medical Clinic, Father Mychal Judge Recovery Center, etc. as well as capital funding such as the generator, lobby doors and security, lobby renovation, etc. • Create and sustain a volunteer Advisory Council, to work in collaboration with the Executive Director through service on such subcommittees including: Mission, Philanthropy, Marketing and Communications, etc. similar to the existing Finance Committee. Manage the volunteer leadership of this advisory group and strive to engage volunteer leaders and prospects in programmatic areas. • Represent the Shrine at community events with donors, corporations, foundations, and government entities to create greater community awareness of the Shrine. • Provide guidance and coaching to the Executive Director and Guardian in the art/skill of cultivation, soliciting and stewarding Major, Leadership, and Planned Gifts. • Provide professional expertise and direction in all aspects of fundraising to key leadership volunteers and employees. • Collaborate with the Manager of Marketing and PR to strategize and develop key messages. Fundraising • Identify, pursue, and cultivate strategic relationships and partnerships with individuals and entities designed to advance the mission and vision of the Shrine, particularly in the area of soliciting major gifts. • Manage and support the Director of Stewardship in the planning of the annual Franciscan Dinner and Pope Francis Award event with a $2 million fundraising goal. • With the support of the Director of Development Marketing &amp; Operations, manage the donor pipeline including identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting Major Gift and Planned Giving prospects for the Shrine's fundraising priorities and stewardship activities, while providing timely reports on activities. • Work with the development staff and select St. Anthony's staff and volunteers to identify public, private, and corporate foundations to support the mission. Research, plan, and submit each proposal, and follow-up with all grant reporting to the business office and to the funder. • Work with development staff and Director of Marketing &amp; Operations to create appropriate materials for fundraising activities and ensure fundraising dollar goals and deadlines are met. • Serve as Prospect Manager for the Executive Director's portfolio of prospects. • Create a Planned Giving Program with an initial objective of establishing a legacy society for donor participation, recognition and stewardship. • Manage a staff of four including a Director of Stewardship, a Director of Development Marketing &amp; Operations, and a Gifts and Records Processor. • Work cooperatively with all other departments of the Shrine in order to enhance the Shrine's public image, raise the Shrine's public profile and encourage donor and volunteer engagement. • Contribute to fostering a culture of philanthropy at the Shrine. • Work in a collegial manner with employees and friars, in a manner that is consistent with our Franciscan Values in the Workplace.
Key Qualifications

 Departmental Overview 
The Berkeley Institute for Data Science (BIDS - <a href="https://apptrkr.com/get_redirect.php?id=5184681&amp;targetURL=https://bids.berkeley.edu" target="_blank">https://bids.berkeley.edu</a>) was founded in 2013 to build on Berkeley's strength in data science with a multidisciplinary emphasis. BIDS aims to facilitate and enhance the development and application of cutting-edge data science techniques in the biological, physical, social and engineering sciences. Today, BIDS is part of the new College of Computing, Data Science and Society (CDSS), where it serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research, tool development, and exchange of ideas between methodologies in computing, statistics and AI. BIDS connects with domain experts from across the entire disciplinary spectrum on campus, and hosts collaborations with local and national partners, including Lawrence Berkeley National Lab and NASA in the unique intellectual ecosystem of Berkeley. 
As CDSS further advances UC Berkeley's eminence in Data Science research and education, BIDS is entering a new era. It will serve as a central hub connecting scholars on campus, as well as reaching out to other Berkeley institutions including LBNL, the Simons Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute, the Space Sciences Laboratory, the International Computer Science Institute, and the SkyDeck Startup Incubator. BIDS' expertise in open source tool development and open science makes it an ideal place to be a home for communities of practice around open knowledge, at a time when both open source software is becoming the norm for research computing, and when open science ideas become part of national science policies across multiple agencies. From this perspective, BIDS will help scholars from different fields to find shared needs, interests and ideas and build new collaborations. 
BIDS also aims to foster conversations regarding the role of Science and Society in the development of new tools and systems for AI. As a discipline-neutral environment, it will provide open space for emerging work ranging from the representation of scientific knowledge in AI models and the use of AI as a scientific instrument, to explorations with social scientists and humanists of questions at the intersection of the human experience, our social context and the role of AI in our lives.
The Executive Director will take a leadership role in managing and developing the Institute's research programs and representing these programs to outside organizations. Under the direction of the BIDS faculty director, the ED will develop the vision and corresponding agenda to achieve the Institute's objectives. The incumbent will oversee all elements of program administration, facilitate collaborations among multiple research groups from across the campus as well as with partner organizations, and provide leadership in identifying outreach services. The Executive Director will work under the direction of the Institute's academic leadership to formulate strategic goals and objectives, direct long-term planning, and develop policies and procedures, and raise funding from external sources. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Provide assessment and treatment services; crisis intervention, including intensive services, to individuals and their families with complex needs and diagnoses; or develop and implement specific services in the community. Act as a task supervisor for interns and staff, provide clinical supervision to mental health professionals, to perform various advanced, specialized clinical and treatment services for individuals receiving services and their families. 
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Work under the general supervision of a manager or supervisor, who assigns work, establishes goals, and reviews the results for overall effectiveness. Per Oregon Health Authority, Behavioral Health Services Rule 309-019-0130: Program staff providing direct services shall receive clinical supervision by a qualified clinical supervisor related to the development, implementation, and outcome of services, documentation of two hours per month of supervision for each individual supervised.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED Primary supervision of employees is not a responsibility of this classification; however, positions may act as lead workers, as defined in the Marion County Personnel Rules. May assist in the supervision of interns and volunteers.
Typical Duties - Duties include, but are not limited to the following
This position provides services to monolingual Spanish-speaking individuals; therefore, fluent bilingual Spanish/English skills are required.

<li>Provides individual and family therapy to children, adolescents and transition age youth in the Salem and surrounding communities.</li>
<li>Provides intake mental health assessments including screening for alcohol and drug issues.</li>
<li>Documents services to meet contract, administrative rule and billing requirements. Employees will strive for 30 hours per week to be scheduled with therapy, client support, committee work and approved training.</li>
<li>Provides consultation, training and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns and other professionals.</li>
<li>Provides case management services to clients. Assists clients and families with accessing community supports/resources. Assists with making referrals for services.</li>
<li>Performs other job duties as assigned by your supervisor.</li>
</ul>

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

The Psychiatric Crisis Center has been working to expand by offering bilingual/bicultural services at our Woodburn office. The Mental Health Specialist in this position will provide crisis assessments to individuals in need as well as case management, resource identification, and referral options. This position will require a motivated individual to learn about the available community services to provide mental health well-being. The individual in this position will possess a desire to be creative in matching individuals to available services while educating the community about the various services we provide at the Crisis Center. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Crisis Clinician 2: Provide assessments and treatment of individuals and families, including groups; provides crisis assessment and intervention services and related duties as required. Primary responsibility of this class is to provide assessment and treatment services; crisis intervention, and treatment services, including intensive services, to individuals and their families with complex needs and diagnoses and/or to develop and implement specific services in the community.
Crisis Clinician 1: Plans and carries out recreational, social and skills training activities; performs case management and counseling functions with Adults in Custody (AIC); facilitates counseling and/or skills training groups; performs related duties as required. Primary responsibility of this class is case management and counseling, without responsibility for developing and implementing specific programs in the community.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Crisis Clinician 2 and 1: Works under the supervision of a supervisor who assigns work, establishes goals, and reviews the results obtained for overall effectiveness.

Typical Duties - Duties include, but are not limited to the following
Counseling to Crisis Clients: Provide counseling by telephone or in-person to individuals and/or their families or concerned others. Intervene with both children and adults. Presenting problems covering the full range of personal needs and include thoughts/plans or violence toward others, and major psychiatric illness. Because of the wide spectrum of presenting problems, it is necessary to have a comprehensive knowledge of psychopathology and to be able to draw upon a wide range of therapeutic strategies in counseling. This work is done at two different locations each day (at the Salem Hospital Emergency Dept. and at PCC), so driving is required.
Assessment of Mental Status: Perform independent assessment of mental status, diagnosis, level of functioning, dangerousness, and specific needs for service. Screen individual for psychiatric hospitalization.
Planning Development: Develop plan with client/family to address immediate needs and plans to obtain services. If client is unwilling to seek services, make decisions regarding involuntary commitment based on dangerousness and ability to care for self.
Community Coordination: Maintain current knowledge of, and contact with, community agencies in order to make referrals appropriately. See that clients gain access to the services they need, and do follow-up work as needed, to make certain that client's needs are being met.
Other:

<li>Advocacy for Client's Rights: Provide advocacy for client rights, ethical consideration, needs for service and least restrictive care-intervention.</li>
<li>Requests for information: Respond to requests for information regarding clients not currently in the CSS, requiring a thorough knowledge of laws governing the release of confidential information.</li>
<li>Attend monthly PCC team meeting.</li>

<li>Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; OR second year graduate students waivered as QMHP's by the Oregon Health Authority.</li>
<li>Crisis Clinician 2 Only: In addition to the educational requirements above, the Crisis Clinician 2 must have at least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.</li>
PREFERENCES Preference will be awarded to candidates who are LCSW, CSWA or eligible for LCSW. Qualified candidates will be eligible for licensure supervision if hired.
AUTO-PROMOTE AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CLASSIFICATION Individuals hired as a Crisis Clinician 1 will auto-promote, as noted in Article 4 in the Marion County personnel rules, to the classification of Crisis Clinician 2 upon satisfactorily completing one-year, post master's degree, of service as a Crisis Clinician 1. (One-year of work experience is equal to 2080 hours)

The incumbent in this position upholds confidentiality rules/regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. Services may be delivered in person or via telehealth; services may be delivered in the following locations, but not limited to office or in the community including settings necessary to deliver addiction counseling services (e.g., PCC, schools, hospitals, jail, courtroom, residences including transitional treatment bed). The incumbent performs all of the following using a person-centered, strengths-based, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and ethically guided approach. This position is stationed and dispatched from the Psychiatric Crisis Center.

About the Position
Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement, the Director of Annual Giving (the "Director") is responsible for the design, strategy, and implementation of The Taft School annual fund program. The Director will join a highly collaborative team, working with key staff, campus-wide partners, and volunteers to implement a strategic annual fund program to maximize Taft community philanthropy.
This position will supervise the Assistant Director of the Annual Fund, the Leadership Annual Gift Officer, the Annual Giving Coordinator, and will have the ability to hire one additional member of the team. The Director will have the opportunity to assess and set forth a plan of action for a group of 500+ Class Agents and will also work with a robust and exceptional Parents Committee.
Taft is seeking a Director who will think strategically and bring an analytic approach to the annual fund, with an ability to better integrate the fund into the overarching development program. Key Responsibilities
• Strategically develop, manage and implement the Taft School annual fund program

Typical Duties - Duties include, but are not limited to the following

<li>Provides Mental Health Assessments and Child &amp; Adolescent Needs &amp; Strengths (CANS) screenings for children entering protective custody. Provides annual CANS screenings for children in protective custody.</li>
<li>Provides individual, family and group therapy services. Completes intake mental health assessments, including screening for alcohol and drug issues. Completes and updates an individual service plan. Obtains and maintains competence in all screening and assessment tools required by the county. Provides case management and outreach services to clients. Assists clients and families with developing skills to access community supports/resources and to advocate for themselves. Assists with making referrals for services.</li>
<li>Provides level of care determinations and eligibility reviews for youth being referred to the Wraparound Program. Presents cases at the System of Care Review Committee, which include eligibility recommendations.</li>
<li>Participates in individual service plan development in collaboration with the treatment team and other community providers. Ensures the collaborative development, periodic review and revision of an individual service plan. Provides service coordination to assist families in accessing formal and informal supports and services; facilitating communication between the family, natural supports, community resources, and involved child-serving providers and agencies; participates in team meetings at which strengths and needs are identified and safety planning occurs; and provides for continuity of care by creating linkages to, and managing transitions between levels of care, and transitions of older youth to the adult service system.</li>
<li>Completes required documentation and documents services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements and maintains acceptable level of productivity for these requirements. Expectation is that employee will strive for 60% of work hours on average to be billable hours with a minimum of 50% billable hours on average each month.</li>
<li>Provides consultation, training, &amp; orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.</li>
<li>Develops a proactive safety/crisis plan; ensures intervention to meet safety needs of children.</li>
<li>Attends treatment reviews and discharge planning staffings at hospitals, residential centers and day treatment programs to develop discharge/transition plans for the return of the child to the community.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li>
</ul>
Response Level 2: In the event of an emergency, employee makes a reasonable effort to report to work. Employee may be required to perform duties outside of their regularly assigned duties. Employee may be requested to work an extended or flexible schedule. Staff at this response level must complete Incident Command System 100 and 700 on-line or in-person training.
Requirements for the Position
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
<li>Possession of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; OR second year graduate students waivered as QMHP's by the Oregon Health Authority.</li>
<li>Mental Health Therapist 2 Only: In addition to the educational requirements above, the Mental Health Therapist 2 must have at least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.</li>
PREFERENCES Preference will be awarded to candidates who are LCSW, CSWA or eligible for LCSW. Qualified candidates will be eligible for licensure supervision if hired.
AUTO-PROMOTE AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF CLASSIFICATION Individuals hired as a Mental Health Specialist 1 will auto-promote, as noted in Article 4 in the Marion County personnel rules, to the classification of Mental Health Specialist 2 upon satisfactorily completing one-year, post master's degree, of service as a Mental Health Specialist 1. (One-year of work experience is equal to 2080 hours).

Final candidates will be asked to submit a technicalexercise relevant to the position. Specific instructions will beprovided to finalist candidates. Final candidates will becompensated $200 for time spent on the technical exercise.
