Summary: Under basic supervision, supervises Odessa Police Department (OPD) Police Records Unit functions and staff; assures that records management policies and procedures are followed, that accuracy and security standards are met, and that administrative issues are properly addressed and resolved.

<li>Prepares Uniform Crime Reports and other summary, status, and financial reports as needed.</li>
<li>Answers inquiries about PRU services and records; explains policies and procedures; provides information and assistance within the scope of authority; refers matters requiring legal interpretation to supervisor.</li>
<li>Assists and coordinates with other federal, state, and local law enforcement organizations.</li>
<li>Performs duties of PRU clerks as needed to meet workload demands.</li>
<li>Maintains the absolute confidentiality of all records and information.</li>
<li>Supports departmental operations with regular and timely attendance.</li>
<li>Supports the relationship between the City of Odessa and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and City staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and City information; performs other duties as required or assigned.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines: High School Diploma or GED required. Prior supervisory experience in a paid position is required. Satisfactory results on a background investigation and polygraph are required. Experience in technical records management in a Texas law enforcement agency is preferred.

Position: Residential Coordinator
General Description:
The Residential Coordinator is responsible for actively supervising all residents/visitors/guests as well as the physical property or site on an on-going basis at the site to which they are assigned in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations of Hudson River Housing, Inc. The Residential Coordinator provides an array of services that range from intakes of new residents, providing excellent customer service, general administrative support, minor housekeeping, to advocacy and crisis intervention for those individuals and families being housed at the respective sites. 
Principal Duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
<ol>

<li>Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, information and referrals, and ongoing support and services as needed to domestic violence victims/survivors and their family members. <li>Provide holistic advocacy services and resources including safety planning, child/adult education, community connections/resources, housing, financial, legal (excluding legal advice), building support networks, and other services/resources as apparent or identified in intakes.</li>
<li>Coordinate with other community advocates and volunteers to provide support to victims during court hearings, and attend court hearings as needed</li>
<li>Respond to hospital calls at Fairview Ridges and Regina hospitals to provide support to victims/survivors during forensic exams.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all community partners and provide training/education and feedback to improve response to victims. This includes informing the Community Advocacy Supervisor (DV) about issues and trends that can be addressed to the Coordinated Community Response Team (CCR) and other local workgroups.</li>
<li>Follow up on referrals from the Community Educator to connect with individuals who disclose they need help during presentations or other community events.</li>
<li>Collaborate with other program staff to represent 360 Communities at events and presentations; this may include tabling events or presenting to systems professionals, social service providers, faith communities, medical facilities, and other community partners to ensure effective victim centered response to domestic violence and/or sexual assault.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate data for statistical purposes as well as narratives for service delivery provisions.</li>
<li>Partner with other program staff regarding working with victims/survivors of domestic violence in order to provide holistic support and services. </li>
<li>Participate in or offer feedback and/or ideas to various workgroups within the organization to help us continue moving in a forward direction with best practices for staff wellness, client services and other initiatives. </li>

Position Summary: 
The Advancing Justice Staff Attorney is responsible for investigating, analyzing, and addressing issues in the criminal legal system in San Diego &amp; Imperial Counties that may be caused by violations of legal and policy protections and/or prevented by improvements in those protections. Working within the affiliate’s Advancing Justice Issue Team and in collaboration with the statewide ACLU of California Police Practices and Criminal Justice Issue Teams, the attorney will work to devise and implement strategies to address problems through legal advocacy and litigation, policy reform and implementation, community education, and strategic communications.  
The Advancing Justice Staff Attorney will be in the Advocacy and Legal Department and supervised by the Advocacy and Legal Director with the Deputy Legal Director providing supervision on litigation matters. 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
The ACLU SDIC’s “integrated advocacy” model unites legal advocacy, policy advocacy, organizing, communication strategies and base building for maximum impact. In keeping with that approach, the Staff Attorney will work on cases, advocacy projects, public education, and campaigns. The attorney’s responsibilities will be the following:

<li>Working with the Advancing Justice Issue Team, Deputy Legal Director and impacted communities identify, research, develop, and pursue legal and policy initiatives consistent with affiliate priorities developed through the Advancing Justice Issue Team; </li>

<li>Research and maintain up-to-date awareness of current tactics and trends related to the criminal legal system, especially as it relates to policing, and communicate those tactics and trends as appropriate to the Advancing Justice Issue Team and appropriate affiliate staff as well as across the ACLU state and national organizational structure; </li>
<li>Participate in strategic litigation and direct service representation as necessary or appropriate, consistent with priorities developed by the Advancing Justice Issue Team and under the supervision of the Deputy Legal Director; </li>
