 Minimum Qualifications:

<li>CPR and First-Aid Certification required or must be obtained within six (6) months of date of hire.</li>

A physical therapy aide is expected to be able to multitask in the areas of patient supervision/instruction, schedule-keeping (insofar as keeping a patient on task is concerned), clinic cleaning (tables, stools, equipment, etc.), laundry washing and folding, and alerting the therapists to reported changes in the patient’s condition. In addition, helping to maintain clinic inventory by alerting management to supply needs is of utmost importance. Required Qualifications • Certified Physical Therapist Aide (CPTA) credential or completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Aide program • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; patient centered attitude • Ability to safely lift, move, and position patients (up to 50 lbs.), and stand for extended periods • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities • Proficiency with basic computer skills and electronic health record (EHR) systems
Preferred Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish/English) • Familiarity with outpatient orthopedic or neurological therapy protocols • Knowledge of safe infection control procedures and OSHA guidelines

Vida Integrated Health is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish-speaking Physical Therapist Aide to join our team at the Vida Everett clinic. In this key role, you’ll support patients throughout their rehabilitation process by assisting our experienced Physical Therapists and contributing to the daily operations of the clinic.

Compensation:
$18 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist in patient care, such as actively demonstrating exercise, ensuring movements and exercise are performed correctly, or administering appropriate modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.</li>
<li>Assist with rooming patients, interacting with patients and taking notes regarding patient care. </li>
<li>Assist with submission and tracking of authorizations for patient care.</li>
<li>Assist in translating and interpreting between Spanish and English, when applicable. </li>
<li>Maintain adequate condition and stock of equipment/materials across the clinic, as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinic space, equipment, tools, instruments and paperwork, to help increase efficiency and productivity of the clinic.&nbsp;</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bilingual (Spanish and English)</li>
<li>The ideal candidate will have experience with atheltics, coaching and/pr personal training.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to connect with a variety of ages and professions. </li>
