Training
Those selected for employment must successfully complete a company paid training program at our Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO as well as hands on evaluation in the aircraft. Training is approximately five-six weeks in length (depending on class size).

One short supplemental video course is mandatory prior to your interview, and a pre-course must be completed and have a 80% or higher score in order to attend our in-person training course in St Louis. Description of Job Duties: Duties include but are not limited to:

<li>Creating and modifying pilot and flight attendant schedules in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations and contractual obligations</li>
<li>Ensuring all crew members are notified of any schedule changes</li>
<li>Paying close attention to the current state of flight operations, especially during periods of inclement weather or other circumstances that may result in delays, and/or flight cancellations.</li>
<li>On occasion, circumstances can cause disruption of the normal operation, which requires a great ability to make and execute decisions under intense deadline pressure.</li>
<li>In addition, the job requires constant interaction with crew members. An ideal candidate will possess the emotional maturity to not be swayed or intimidated into making exceptions or applying rules inconsistently. </li>

Primary Objective of Room Attendant Position
To maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean customer rooms in accordance with the standards of Bartell Hotels
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Insures customer satisfaction by cleaning customer rooms daily according to operational policies and standards</li>
<li>Removes soiled bed and bath linens and replaces with clean linens as required</li>
<li>Removes accumulated trash and debris from room as required</li>
<li>Cleans bathroom area, dusts all surfaces and vacuums room as required</li>
<li>Replenishes promotional materials and literature and room amenities </li>
<li>Reports maintenance requests and replacement orders</li>
<li>Turns in articles left in rooms to Housekeeping office for "Lost and Found" handling</li>
<li>Leaves all customer belongings in stay over rooms unless they have been discarded in the trash</li>
<li>Maximizes job efficiency and neat, orderly appearance by maintaining well-stocked and clean supply cart and linen closet</li>
<li>Maintains vacuum cleaner by replacing and/or emptying bag daily, cleaning and placing according to S.O.P.'s</li>
<li>Notifies Housekeeping Department immediately if any stock shortages exist</li>
<li>Pulls any damaged or rewash linen and returns them to the Housekeeping Department</li>
<li>Insures safety and security by securing the locks on linen closets and linen chute doors</li>
<li>Reports all "Do Not Disturb" or bolted door rooms to Housekeeping department as required</li>
<li>Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance</li>
</ul>

Physical Demands &amp; Work Environment 
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, as well as frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. The employee must also be able to go up and down a flight of stairs while carrying 50 pounds. The employee is sometimes exposed to outside weather conditions and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
