ABOUT THE POSITION
One Hundred Miles (OHM) is seeking an enthusiastic and highlyskilled individual to join our team as the Development EventsManager. 
The Development Events Manager will generate revenue and developaudiences for One Hundred Miles (OHM) through special events. Thisposition will create and manage a new fundraising event to behosted in coastal Georgia. The Development Events Manager will alsomanage and coordinate OHM’s Salt Marsh Table dinner series as wellas cultivation and stewardship events in markets across coastalGeorgia and the state. These events will connect current andprospective supporters with our work and promote OHM’s membership,advocacy, and education opportunities.
Additionally, the Development Events Manager will developpartnerships and support from businesses across coastal Georgia.This includes securing sponsorships for OHM events and programs,developing retail partnerships, and securing in-kind support.
The Development Events Manager will serve on the Developmentteam and work closely with the VP of Philanthropy and DevelopmentCoordinator.
Primary Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Develop and manage all aspects of a new fundraising event thatgenerates new funding and growth, supports OHM branding, and tapsinto new audiences.</li>
<li>Coordinate Salt Marsh Table dinner series.</li>
<li>Plan and organize monthly events that steward and cultivaterelationships with various OHM audiences: major donors, members,and new donor prospects. These events (e.g., birding, kayaking,open houses, coffees, cocktail parties, dinners, etc.) willcontribute to increasing overall annual support.</li>
<li>Help create and organize a signature cultivation event forOHM’s Spartina Society.</li>
<li>Organize and manage all logistics for events, including projectplans.</li>
<li>Work directly with third-party contractors/vendors (venue,caterer, printer, etc.)</li>
<li>Develop marketing and communications for events (invitations,social media, letters, email, website).</li>
<li>Maintain a calendar of all event activities and deadlines.</li>
<li>Recruit and manage volunteers to support events and to serve asevent hosts or on committees.</li>
<li>Create and manage revenue/expense budgets for specialevents.</li>
<li>Conduct networking and outreach in support of specialevents.</li>
<li>Generate timely and accurate reports, including regular donorreports that track trends and growth in connection with developmentgoals.</li>

<li>Secure sponsorship for OHM’s signature events: Choosing to LeadConference, Salt Marsh Table, and other events.</li>

Position Overview  
As an essential member of the Development and CommunicationsTeam, the Individual Giving Director drives the development andmaintenance of a portfolio of individual and major gifts to achievefundraising goals identified in the Center’s annual budget andstrategic plan. About St. Anthony Shrine
St. Anthony Shrine (the Shrine) is a center for Roman Catholic ministry in Boston, MA, directed by the Franciscan Friars of the Province of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
The doors of the Shrine boldly proclaim, ‘All Are Welcome', reminding all of the central focus of the Shrine's ministry that has remained constant for over 70 years: providing a convenient and prayerful setting for people desiring to praise and worship. The Shrine currently offers 24 weekly Masses and 19 hours of confession. Inspired by the enduring legacy of St. Francis of Assisi, the friars and the lay people of the Shrine strive to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all people, by caring for our brothers and sisters, especially those most in need. In preaching, prayers, adult formation, and spiritual counseling, the Shrine fosters Christian discipleship "in the marketplace" by reaching out and welcoming people to deepen their relationship with God and with one another.

• Father Mychal Judge Recovery and Counseling Center: A substance abuse counseling and retreat ministry for individuals and families as they journey toward recovery from addiction. The Center offers individual or group substance abuse counseling, and also pastoral support and assistance for individuals seeking to complete Fifth Step work. There are also recovery retreats for 12 Step groups covering various topics including recovery spirituality, mindful meditation, and relapse. The Center also has additional services for people not in recovery: psychotherapy for people experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, family crisis, and other mental health and emotional issues. Therapy is offered through couples counseling, family counseling, and individual counseling. • The Lazarus Ministry: Providing proper and dignified burials and funerals for those who die homeless, abandoned, or with no known next-of-kin. The Lazarus Ministry does not discriminate and has served many people of different religions, recent immigrants to the United States, and homeless veterans. The Franciscan Food Center: The Center feeds people who are hungry by providing high-quality and nutritious food in a client-choice setting and creating a community in an environment of dignity, compassion, and respect. • LGBTQ+ Spiritual Ministry: A community of faith where LGBTQ+ Catholics, as well as their family and friends, can explore and express their Catholic spirituality and grow in hope with one another. About the Opportunity
The Shrine is the beneficiary of a very generous and loyal donor base. Total philanthropic revenue is in the annual range of $4.5-$5 million through the support of more than 8,000 donors. Key revenue streams include direct mail, an annual gala, raffles, and individual giving. There is significant opportunity to grow and diversify revenue from an already committed donor base.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a strategic fundraising advisor to the Executive Director and is responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships and opportunities that will advance the mission of St. Anthony Shrine. This includes coordinating relationship building to raise the profile and involvement of St. Anthony Shrine within the Greater Boston business community, city, and state government, as well as with key Catholic and non-Catholic philanthropists; ever mindful to advance the mission and to build a culture of philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities Leadership
• Lead the organization, its members, donors, and community stakeholders to foster a culture of philanthropy for the Shrine. • Identify strategic organizational initiatives to meet program funding, in collaboration with the Executive Director and Department/Ministry Directors, i.e., Franciscan Food Center, The Rita A. About the Role

The Genealogy and Local History Librarian creates a positive library experience for customers by providing expert reference services and assistance with using materials and resources in the Local History and Genealogy Department. The Genealogy and Local History Librarian reports to the Manager of the Local History and Genealogy department. The Librarian provides direct customer service and reference and instruction support for individuals and groups. About the Position
Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement, the Director of Annual Giving (the "Director") is responsible for the design, strategy, and implementation of The Taft School annual fund program. The ideal candidate will have a respect and appreciation for independent school values, bring strength in leadership to guide the annual fund team and program, and have strong experience and interest in working with volunteers. This position will require 4 days per week in the office at Taft, with 1 day of remote flexibility possible.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategically develop, manage and implement the Taft School annual fund program
• Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute annual fundraising campaigns, including direct mail, email, and social media efforts 
• Lead and manage the annual fund team, including 3 current direct reports, with the opportunity to hire 1 additional staff member
• Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, including alumni, parents, and community members
• Create and manage metrics to measure the effectiveness of annual strategies, working with the team to build and analyze donor lists and reports
• Determine annual giving goals and donor targets, informed by data and strategic planning
•Develop annual giving communications strategy in partnership with the communications team
• Partner with Director of Donor Engagement and Stewardship regarding annual recognition efforts
• Contribute to the planning of relevant events, including donor receptions, alumni reunions, and volunteer appreciation events
• Develop and execute an effective and sustainable volunteer plan within annual giving, to engage Class Agents, the Parents Committee, and other volunteers.

• Strong managerial, leadership and supervisory skills • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Experience engaging and managing volunteer groups • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage diverse stakeholders • Exceptional organizational skills, with a detail-oriented approach • Understanding of database management, gift processing and donor relations • Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to identify new opportunities for the program • Interest and respect for Independent School values and community • Alignment with School's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion • Project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and prioritizing tasks while maintaining a high quality of work • Willingness and ability to travel and to work nights and weekends, as needed
Compensation: 
The salary range for this role begins at $100,000 annually, and is commensurate with experience, competencies, and skillset.
