Environmental Engineering Technician Level 1

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC, is hiring a Construction Engineering Technician (CET) to join a team of professionals supporting the Navy’s shipyard optimization program shipyard at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery Maine.
Required Job Qualifications
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 5 years of verified experience as a Quality Control Manager working for General Contractors on NAVFAC or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers projects OR 10 years of verified foreman experience in one or more of following trades: Concrete, Mechanical, Electrical, Masonry, or Carpentry on commercial/industrial/military projects. Residential experience does not qualify.</li>
<li>Must successfully complete U.S. Army Corps of Engineers/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C).</li>
<li>OSHA 30 hour outreach training.</li>

Major Responsibilities and Required Knowledge or Skills

<li>Take appropriate, timely action to ensure construction contractor compliance of safety and health requirements, including leading safety stand-downs, as required, and recommending dismissal of key construction contractor staff from the project due to non-performance or recurring violations.</li>

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

The Site Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and contractors working on construction and industrial services projects. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of projects by implementing and enforcing safety standards and protocols set by AIS Infrastructure.

MAJOR DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.</li>
<li>Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and potential risks in the workplace.</li>

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES

As a Software Update Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of software updates into control units prior to installation in our Chattanooga assembly plant.
