Job purpose
The Senior Development Associate is responsible for alladministrative aspects of development and donor cultivationactivities. This position is a critical role that supports AFJ’sleadership and development team in fundraising, donor cultivation,and administration aligned with its mission and strategic plan.
Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Maintain EveryAction database records ensuring accurate and upto date information including gift entry, notes, contacts, andfollow ups.</li>
<li>Communicate with the Finance Department to receive requiredreports, wire transfers, check scans, and stock gifts and toreconcile monthly gift data with accounting.</li>
<li>Open and process mail and checks, coordinating with Operationsand Finance to ensure timely deposits and reporting.</li>
<li>Generate, print, mail, and track timely and accurateacknowledgement letters for donations.</li>
<li>Support the Foundations Relations Director with back-up supportfor data entry and tracking of grant payments.</li>
<li>Pull reports on donor data from EveryAction database.</li>
<li>Create and distribute weekly and monthly income reports.</li>
<li>Assist with planning and execution of donor outreach eventsthroughout the year.</li>
<li>Proofread and light editing of print and digitalmaterials.</li>
<li>Maintain and update as needed ClickUp project managementsoftware.</li>
<li>Maintain executive schedule and travel arrangements asneeded.</li>
<li>Print and mail in house direct mail pieces throughout theyear.</li>

Qualifications

Compensation

The George Washington University Law Library seeks a qualified librarian for its Head of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services position to begin as early as September 15, 2023. As a member of the library’s dynamic, collaborative Instructional Technology Services team, the librarian in this position has primary oversight for the Office of Legal Technology &amp; Instructional Services. This position leads the development and delivery of services supporting the integration of library resources into the curriculum, the curation and use of the library’s growing electronic resources collection, the use of scholarly communication technologies and services, and the undertaking of digital initiatives. Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for validating customer entitlement, log case for the purpose of routing or dispatching an end-user to the proper resources.</li>
<li>Monitor the service event through completion for compliance.</li>
<li>Manage the service requests of customers through different access channels.</li>
<li>Reviews customer feedback related to customer entitlement &amp; case management and analysis of statistics related to customer access (phone) &amp; case management.</li>
<li>Provide resolution and feedback based on analysis.</li>
<li>Participates/leads in projects for process or quality improvements.</li>
<li>Works with escalated customers and recommends actions in post incident reviews.</li>
<li>Manages multiple tasks or cases simultaneously with minimal supervision May act as a mentor or trainer in the team.</li>

&nbsp;Education and Experience Required:
<ul>
<li>High school education or equivalent.</li>
<li>Typically requires 3- 5 years general experience, or equivalent combination of experience and college level education.</li>
</ul>

<li>Superior communication skills both written and verbal</li>
<li>Experience in customer-facing role either remote or face to face</li>
<li>Understands internal processes and tools</li>
