The Team: Inclusive Financial Systems The Inclusive Financial Systems (IFS) team believes that valuable, low-cost financial products have the potential to offer a pathway out of poverty, and that digital financial systems can enable the private sector's delivery of such products to the poor sustainably and at scale. IFS supports the buildout of inclusive digital financial services (DFS) systems in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) by (i) enabling the right policy and regulatory environment, (ii) supporting the implementation of inclusive instant payments systems, (iii) driving scale and economic sustainability by promoting pro-poor use cases; and (iv) closing the gender gap in the usage of formal financial products.
Position Summary While financial service providers ensure the last-mile delivery of financial services, their ability to serve unbanked population segments hinge on whether policymakers, regulators, and commercial providers adopt evidence-based interventions which have been proven to expand the poor's access to digital financial tools. The Deputy Director, Regulation, Policy &amp; Research will lead a team which seeks to (1) support regulators in LMICs to develop inclusive financial regulations; (2) protect DFS consumers by equipping supervisors with policy guidance and technology tools which enable them to mitigate consumer risks; (3) support regulators in expanding healthy access to productive credit markets; 4) generate evidence which informs decision-makers in LMICs; and 5) ensure the IFS strategy and programming reflects the latest research and data.

What You'll Do
<li>Serve on the IFS Leadership Team and Investment Committee, informing overall IFS team strategy and grant making.</li>
<li>Manage and cultivate a cohesive, high-impact team which leads the IFS team's Regulations, RegTech &amp; Consumer Protection, Research &amp; Measurement, and Strategic Partnerships portfolios.</li>

The salary range for this role is $229,100 to $355,200 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences where our offices are located, in Seattle, WA &amp; Washington D.C. The range for this role in these locations is $249,600 to $386,900 USD. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission and new hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint. SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for collaborating with the Vice President of Facilities &amp; Building Operations in order to successfully deliver projects with minimum negative impact on the Museum. These projects will vary in size and scope and each will necessitate working with various employees and contractors of the Museum. The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for carrying a project forward to successful completion while keeping the Director of Facilities informed and involved on a daily basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Projects will need to be seamlessly interfaced with the Museums physical plant, consisting of 1,000,000 square feet of museum property, consisting of 7 multi-purpose buildings including a 5 level parking garage, Planetarium, Omni Theater, exhibits, programs, and office areas as well as four animal living areas.</li>
<li>Working closely with the Vice President of Facilities &amp; Building Operations you will be managing components of an annual $ 4.0 million expense budget and up to a $10 million capital project budget. Projects being managed will typically range from $ 50k to $ 1M and interface heavily with the building mechanical systems.</li>
<li>Interface with up to 50 Museum employees and contractors who will be supporting projects</li>
<li>Responsible for understanding the building electrical systems (9 million kWh of electricity delivered at 13,800 volts) and steam systems (25 million 1bm of steam delivered at 20 psi) as part of Museum construction and renovation projects.</li>
<li>Responsible for understanding building systems - which include natural gas boilers (340 therms annually), 1000 tons of chilled water, 11 high voltage distribution stations, a 400 kW of generators and a 50 kW UPS, fire suppression and alarm, 11 elevators/escalators, environmental controls and a 500+point computer operated building management system - as part of Museum construction and renovation projects.</li>
<li>On occasion be called upon to interface with Museum Board Members via. Physical Facilities Committee and Environmental Sustainability and Green Building Teams.</li>
<li>Responsible for working with various Museum teams in order to seamlessly integrate your projects during and after business hours, 365 days per year, while minimizing negative impact on the visitors experience.</li>
</ul>
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Bachelors of Science or Arts degree.</li>
<li>Seven (7) years of experience maintaining building mechanical systems, and plumbing systems, chilled water systems, steam heating systems and other related equipment in an educational, institutional, industrial or similar setting.</li>

Primary Responsibilities: 
Customer Satisfaction: 
- Compile and resolve punch list items
- Perform final walk-through with customer
- Secure a signed Completion of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction from the customer
Customer Communication: 
- Conduct pre-construction meeting with customer
- Provide project updates (daily narrative) to customers and clients
Construction Management: 
- Schedule all subcontractors and material suppliers
- Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work
- Document all project activities in the job book
- Execute change orders
Subcontractor/Resource Provider Management: 
- Set expectations on a project-by-project basis
- Maintain quality standards through site inspections
- Provide evaluation and rating of all vendors and subcontractors
- Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions
Cost Control and Schedule Adherence: 
- Ensure material suppliers deliver exactly what was purchased
- Ensure subcontractors complete all work in accordance with their purchase orders
- Validate schedule and progress
- Identify areas outside of the contracted scope of work
General: 
- Be familiar with and able to execute all roles and responsibilities of the Construction Coordinator
-Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred
- MUST be able to pass background check and drug screening 
Education/Training: 
High School Diploma/ GED
Pay Rate:

Job Summary The Construction Supervisor is responsible for coordinating construction efforts through in-house and contract laborer maintenance, supervising construction projects. Responsible for the safety and quality of crew.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the crew or vendor on the project site.
</li>
<li>
Enforce company policy and procedure; take disciplinary action when necessary.
</li>

Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
</li>
<li>
Inspect work progress, equipment, or project sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met.
</li>
<li>
Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.
</li>
<li>
Confer with Project Manager, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
</li>
<li>
Coach workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company policies.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support.
</li>
<li>
Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or excavation activities, using hand tools or other equipment.

<li>
Arrange or delegate for repairs of equipment or machinery.

Review and process damage claims.
</li>
<li>
Follow and enforce the Company’s policies and procedures

Perform other duties as requested by the manager.

Use industry specific software for project supporting information

Additional Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>
1+ years of construction work experience
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Understanding of all safety requirements per OSHA specifications
</li>
<li>
Underground, Ariel, MDU, Coax Splicing, or Fiber Splicing experience preferred
</li>
</ul>
Working Conditions- Field environment, flexibility of schedule according to needs of operation; on-call rotation
