We are currently seeking a full time Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is interested in joining a virtual behavioral health collaborative care program and is committed to changing the care delivery experience for both patients and providers.
What you'll likely work on:

<li>Conduct psychiatric evaluations of a wide range of clinical presentations with patients referred by their primary care provider in an integrated setting (eg: depression, anxiety, substance misuse, adult ADHD, trauma, health anxiety)</li>
<li>Deliver ongoing treatment for a wide range of psychiatric concerns and psychosocial issues using brief evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions</li>
<li>Participate in developing and delivering coordinated care plans with behavioral health care managers and psychiatric consultants within a collaborative care model</li>
<li>Conduct suicide risk assessment and safety planning visits with patients including counseling on limiting access to leathal means</li>
<li>Improve population health outcomes by providing consultation on behavioral health issues to primary care team members</li>
<li>Participate in regularly scheduled virtual caseload consultations with the patient’s Care Manager and other team members involved in the patient’s care</li>

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

DUTIES:

The work is performed in a Child Development Center (CDC), U.S. Coast Guard. The purpose of the Child Development Services (CDS) Training and Curriculum (TAC) Specialist position is to provide and deliver a comprehensive training program to Child Development Center (CDC) employees and CDS Family Child Care (FCC) providers, assist with the implementation of a developmentally appropriate curriculum program that fosters the physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development of children and youth, ages 6 weeks to 12 years and promote school readiness and support ongoing school success. A comprehensive CDS employee-training program directly correlates to the quality of childcare programs provided. TAC works under supervision of CDC Director, and TAC would assume CDC director duties in the event the CDC Director and Assistant Director are not available.
Provides training to CDC employees and FCC providers. Utilizes child and youth development and training expertise to role model, mentor, coordinate and provide training, observe for successful implementation of training, assess development of children and youth by direct observation, and provide services that lead to obtaining and/or maintaining accreditation by a nationally recognized early childhood accrediting agency, where applicable.
Provides orientation to new employees to the CDC system and provides them with basic information that can be applied in all settings. Works with CDC Director and cognizant Family Advocacy Specialist (FAS) and Resource Specialist (FRS) to establish training plans and schedules for employees and provider training. Arranges for total CDS training opportunities, including training of management, administrations, food service, and direct staff. Provides training to CDC employees and FCC providers on age-appropriate activities. Arranges and/or delivers initial and ongoing training and ensures training is available to support career progression. Arranges for subject matter experts to conduct/support specialized training. Ensures completion and documentation of required training of all CDS personnel. Develops a working relationship with local and on-line colleges, universities and professional organizations and advises employees/providers about continuing avenues of professional development. Maintains training records and establishes a standardized Individual Development Plan (IDP) for each CDS employee and FCC provider, as directed by CDC Director. Prepares training status reports and recommendations to supervisors and notifies CDC Directors. Develops programs that encourage and support the pursuit of continuing higher education by documenting requirements for completion of the Child Development Association (CDA) and provides information, assistance and guidance to employees and providers who are seeking college-level classes to meet their professional goals. Works with Assistant CDC Director to promote FCC provider accreditation to certified FCC providers and identifies additional training needs. Provide parallel training and support services to the MWR staff working with youth and assist with obtaining/maintaining accreditation by a nationally recognized youth organization, as required.
Ensures that the required Coast Guard curriculum is implemented within each CDS program (i.e. supports implementation and execution of the Coast Guard standardized curriculum within the Child Development Center (CDC), including assisting CDC direct care staff by documenting observations and assessments, evaluating classroom environments, reviewing weekly activity plans, and providing additional training when needed). Coordinates programming that supports the children and youth's physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development regardless of setting or length of time in care. Ensures the quality and consistency of development programming to include environment, equipment, materials, program structure, curriculum, risk management practices and oversight and coordination of activity schedules and lesson plan. Role models appropriate behaviors and techniques working with children and youth. Observes activities throughout all hours of operation to assess employee competency and direct training needs for group and/or individuals. Provides feedback to employees and supervisors. Maintains resources to aid CDC employees and FCC providers in preparing lesson plans and activity schedules and to assist with training objectives. Reviews lesson plans to ensure they are appropriate and based on curriculum requirements. Provides training to CDC staff and FCC providers so they can ensure classroom and activity areas are in compliance with fire, safety, and sanitations rules and instructions. Ensures all childcare personnel meet training requirements as set by local, State, and Federal agencies, along with standards set by the accrediting agency, when applicable.

Training & Curriculum Specialist Temp FT NTE 1 Year - 5810

This project is slated to open in Fall 2024 near W. Alameda and S. Pecos with a total of 89 units and an on-site 100-slot Early Learning Center. This is a new program; responsibilities may shift as the project progresses through various phases. Based on project location and community composition, the Resident Engagement Lead will be responsible for facilitating programming in both English and Spanish to foster an inclusive environment. The starting schedule, equivalent to 40 hours per week, for this role, will be determined collaboratively between the employee and supervisor, with a subsequent schedule of four 9-hour days and one 4-hour weekend day, upon project launch in October 2024.
Additionally, before the facility’s opening, the Resident Engagement Lead will work closely with the Director of Supportive Services - Alameda on programmatic planning, outreach efforts, assessment of potential residents for lease-up process engagement in staff hiring, and other essential preparatory tasks. The person selected for this role must demonstrate adaptability and comfortability in navigating ambiguity and evolving conditions.
Summary/objective:
The Resident Engagement Lead – Alameda Campus will be responsible for fostering a vibrant and inclusive community atmosphere within Warren Village’s supportive housing project for families, who have experienced homelessness or housing instability, with a preference for single parents. The focus of this role will be divided into four areas: 1) Building strong connections among residents, gathering their input on desired onsite programming, and coordinating with partner agencies to deliver enriching activities; 2) Supervising direct services staff and facilitating internal programming for residents, including supporting crisis management during evening &amp; weekend programming; 3) Conducting one-to-one case management support to a caseload of residents, as needed; 4) Collaborating closely with the Development Team, providing essential support for special events maintaining that resources and opportunities are allocated equitably to address the diverse needs of residents.

<li>Fosters cross-site collaboration by connecting with other Warren Village Residential Engagement Leads to share best practices and leverage collective insights</li>
<li>Supports in the development and administration of adult resident engagement program budgets.</li>
<li>Maintains open channels of communication and sharing of information with the Director of Supportive Services and other Warren Village staff to collaboratively ensure the development of goals for resident engagement, aligned with Warren Village’s overarching strategic vision.</li>
<li>Uses data-driven insights to inform decision-making and prioritize improvement efforts aimed at optimizing residential engagement and resident satisfaction.</li>
<li>Covers department administrative needs, on a rotating basis, such as distribution of mail, staff kitchen duties, donations organization and distribution, and basic office processes.</li>

Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field; or 8 years of work experience in one or more of these fields.</li>
<li>Experience facilitating community activities, classes, and/or workshops for homeless populations and low-income, culturally diverse communities.</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience in engaging, building rapport, and facilitating group activities within residential care/treatment settings or supportive housing environments.</li>
<li>One year of experience supervising staff.</li>
<li>Experience in program coordination and/or development.</li>
<li>Experience working with culturally diverse people.</li>
<li>Ability to work regular night and occasional weekend hours within the work week.</li>
</ul>

Preferred education eligibility requirements (Certifications, Licenses, etc.), and/or experience:
<ul>
<li>Fluency in both English and Spanish languages, proficiently communicating verbally and in writing. </li>
<li>Lived experience in homelessness and/or housing instability, including alumni of Warren Village.</li>
<li>Master’s degree in social work, psychology, human services, or a related field.</li>
<li>Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification. </li>
<li>Experience providing case management, coaching, and resource navigation to homeless populations and low-income, culturally diverse communities and/or to residents in care/treatment settings or supportive housing environments.</li>
<li>If driving is required, the employee must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive Warren Village vehicles.</li>
</ul>
Work Environment:
The working environment is typically that of an office using a personal computer, telephone, and other equipment.

Physical Demands:
Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 25 lbs. Primarily a stationary position. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office/facility to access file cabinets, storage spaces, access units and building spaces by utilizing stairs, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
 
Salary &amp; Benefits: $58,610 - $70,460 DOE
Typical hiring range of: $58,610 – $67,860
