This is an individual contributor role focused solely on marketing SmartLogic and our services; we do not offer any marketing services to our clients. You will report to the VP of Operations. The VP of Operations will be responsible for (1) project managing and executing the marketing plans you create; and (2) hiring and managing any individuals or contractors we may need (e.g. copywriters, content creators, etc.) as we execute our marketing initiatives.
Requirements

<li>Multiple years of experience working in a B2B marketing context, preferably in custom software and/or professional services</li>

Benefits
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000, depending on relevant experience.
This position is fully remote and you may work from anywhere in the United States. Occasional travel (~3-6 times a year) to attend planning meetings in Baltimore, MD, client meetings, and conferences is required.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement digital marketing initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives and target audience. 
• Social media management. Manage the company's social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn) and develop engaging content to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation. Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities for increased visibility. 
• Attend agent property tours and company events to capture and develop content with an emphasis on video. 
• Assist with the creative process of corporate content and campaigns related to real estate, winning new clients and new listings, agent promotion, lifestyle trends, real estate trends, local events, and more. 
• Assist head of content with the CEO and President’s social media content and strategy across different platforms. 
• Provide original copywriting, source images, and work with other team members to ensure all content aligns with the brand’s mission. 
• Coordinate with other team members within the marketing department to ensure that marketing efforts are being leveraged effectively. Write briefs and relay project specs to the design team to support content creation. 
• Analytics and reporting. Monitor and analyze digital marketing efforts, website traffic, social media engagement, and lead generation metrics. Prepare regular reports to evaluate performance and make data-driven recommendations for future strategies.

SUMMARY: 
 The Digital Marketing Strategist spearheads the development, implementation, and supervision of both long-term digital marketing campaigns and short-term advertising initiatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Assists in executing marketing strategies and objectives, especially related to social media and digital advertising, as they apply to recruiting new agents, encouraging new business, and building brand awareness.</li>

What we're building
Our vision is to make it easy and accessible to manufacture a product. We're starting with a desktop Pick and Place machine, used to assemble electronic components onto circuit boards.
Existing Pick and Place machines are expensive and can require high-pressure air and three phase power. Some only accept job files on a floppy disk. Traditionally, Pick and Place machines have only been used by large companies with factory space, so that's how they're designed.
But they don't need to be this way. Our machines facilitate mid-scale manufacturing, where you make your product at a moderate scale before making the risky and expensive jump to a factory contract. With our hardware, anyone can do a production run of their product in-house.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone that is excited by our vision, has experience selling hardware, and is ready to wear a lot of hats. We're a small team growing quickly. There will be constant opportunity to take on new responsibilities and have serious impact on the direction of the company.
You will be responsible for helping shape the Marketing program at Opulo. This includes optimizing social media and search ads, research our target market, updating ad creative and copy, and discover new verticals. You will help businesses discover desktop PCBA assembly, and how it can make them more efficient. You will work closely with leadership to understand what our customers are looking for, and figure out how best to reach them. This role is Hybrid, requiring that you come into our Pittsburgh office regularly. We believe that exposure to the hardware is critical to fully understanding it, and knowing how it works best for our customers.
