We are looking for local talent of people who enjoy making creative videos with Final Cut or Adobe Pro Software. Our Video Editor Technicians edit recorded video from Instrumented After Action Reviews (I-AARs) and compile a single take-home quality video for each I-AAR.
Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Support the AARP Team Lead and I&amp;C Chief in the development of digital audio/visual products</li>
<li>Support the Operations Manager in the digital portion of the take home package</li>
<li>Use complex editing software such as Final Cut and Adobe Premier to piece together still images, footage, sound effects, dialog, and animation effects</li>
<li>Combine video and digital photos from Guardsmen conducting training</li>
<li>Use software such as Adobe Premier Pro and Final Cut to assemble the raw products along with sound bites from radio transmission recordings into short movies</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Pass a background check</li>
<li>Have a valid Driver's License and be able to commute daily</li>
<li>Ability to safely lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. </li>
<li>Able to work in an outdoor environment using military tents and portable restrooms</li>

Duties entail.

<li>FILM EDITING/PRODUCTION: Produce awesome videos that get over half-million views with your mad skills. Find creative ways to tell our brand story, join the creative team in conceptualizing ad campaign concepts, and create unique and engaging social posts. Film. Cut. Edit. Record VOs. <li>COMMERICAL VIDEO: Film all video content that we need! Ad campaign concepts, social media, and other programs are camera ready we just need you.</li>

<li>SKILLS: The ideal candidate will have skills in lighting, video production, audio production, and editing footage. And by the way, maintain and manage all videos assets in an accessible way for future use.</li>

Desired Skills and Experience:

<li>AA, Bachelors (or working on Bachelor's) degree in photography, film-making, graphic design, or marketing related field</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure with tight timelines</li>
<li>Ability to interact and work with a team with a strong attention to detail and high sense of urgency</li>
<li>Ability to take on new tasks as needed and effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment</li>
<li>Be able to see other people’s points of view and take on critical feedback</li>
<li>Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a must, including Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, Teams, and OneDrive</li>
<li>Knowledge of Sprout Social (or other social scheduling platform) is a plus</li>

PURPOSE:
Contributes to the content and production of SEMA editorial across all platforms. Works within editorial department and closely with art department and sales team to efficiently produce industry-leading content.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
