REPORTS TO: Director of Athletics Description of Services: The Head Coach is directly responsible to the Director of Athletics, the Head of School and Athletic Coordinator. The coach of an individual sport must realize that any activity sponsored by the school and BPS Athletics is part of the total program offered by Boston Public Schools. Individuals in charge of such activities must utilize sound educational principles and goals, as athletics are a valued part of the overall school program. Duties of the Head Coach shall include (but not limited to): Model the behaviors outlined in the National Federation Coaches Code of Ethics, especially those pertaining to sportsmanship. Have full control of the team in all matters pertaining to coaching and athletic discipline. Implement BPS Athletic Department, Boston Public Schools and school policies, procedures and team rules. Be responsible for information contained in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Handbook and the Student Handbooks. Supervise and delegate responsibilities for all assistant coaches both paid and volunteer. Attend all athletic department and school level meetings that deal directly with the sport coached. Stay informed of rule changes, trends, and recommendations that affect your particular sport. Develop and establish coaching philosophy and various methodologies to instill in practice, games and program. Be present at each practice session and at all contests of the sport coached. This includes supervision, at all times of the weight room, locker room and shower areas until the area is secured before and after practices and contests. Develop an organized written practice plan to include adequate warm-up and cool-down procedures on a daily basis. Scout future opponents and implement game plan, preparing team for competition. Make sure that the facilities and equipment are safe and that safety procedures are taught and followed in all areas. Review and assist in the processing of medical forms parent consent forms eligibility/progress reports. Promote the importance of academics and utilize partners and supports to maintain grades throughout the year. Work with community members who are involved in youth sports in order to encourage the young women and young men to continue to participate in sports at the high school level. Develop an approach to coaching which encourages outreach to the parents of the athletes Directly supervise squad members at home and away contests. Supervise all team members that are transported by school buses. This includes… Riding the bus to all competitions Ensuring all team members travel to and from games and practices (when applicable) by school transportation. Be responsible for the distribution and collection of the schools athletic equipment before, during and after the coaching season and compile inventory. Communicate and report game results and information to media and Athletic Director Submit all site sheets immediately following a contest. Identify and nominate deserving students for district, local and state awards Assist student-athletes in securing financial aid or college scholarships based on athletics and leadership abilities. Have current knowledge of NCAA and NAIA rules. And recruiting policies, regulations and admission requirements. Perform other duties/responsibilities assigned by the Principal/Headmaster or Director of Athletics. Minimum Requirements: High School Degree required Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred. Previous successful playing and/or coaching experience required. Current CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Concussion Certification, and fulfillment of the MIAA Coaches Education Requirements. Description of Service Opportunity: 
A Head coach is directly responsible to the Director of Athletics and the CRLS Principal. The coach of an individual sport must realize that any activity sponsored by CRLS Athletics is part of the total program offered by CRLS. Individuals in charge of such activities must utilize sound educational principles and goals if athletics are to be a worthwhile part of the overall school program. Some of the duties of the Head Coach shall include: 
Model the behaviors outlined in the National Federation Coaches Code of Ethics, especially those pertaining to sportsmanship. Have full control of the team in all matters pertaining to coaching and athletic discipline. Implement CRLS Athletic Department policies and team rules. Be responsible for the information contained in the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Blue Book and the CRLS Student Handbook. Supervise all assistant coaches both paid and volunteered. Attend all Athletic Department and CRLS meetings that deal directly with the sport coached, including College Recruiting nights, Facilities and Fields meetings, and Athletic Awards meetings. Stay informed of rule changes, trends, and recommendations that affect their particular sport. Be present at each practice session and at all contests of the sport coached. This includes supervision at all times of the weight room, locker room, and shower areas until the area is secured before and after practices and contests. Scout future opponents. Develop an organized written practice plan to include adequate warm-up and cool-down procedures on a daily basis. Make sure that the facilities and equipment are safe and that safety procedures are taught and followed in all areas. Implementing game plan. Review and assist in the processing of medical forms, parent consent forms, and eligibility/progress reports. Give personal support to the entire CRLS staff, including Deans, Teachers, and the Friends of Cambridge Athletics. Establish avenues of communication with other adults to identify potential resources for the enhancement of CRLS athletics; Work with community members who are involved in youth sports in order to encourage the young women and young men to continue to participate in sports at the high school level. Develop an approach to coaching which encourages outreach to the parents of the athletes and to other adults who care about the athletes (booster clubs are one part of this outreach). Ensure your athletes are participating in the Seasonal FOCA Fundraising event. Organize and instruct clinics for the youth teams and coaches of your individual sport. Directly supervise squad members at home and away contests. Supervise all team members that are transported by school buses. This includes making sure all team members travel to and from games and practices (when applicable) by school transportation. Be responsible for the distribution and collection of the school's athletic equipment before, during, and after the coaching season and compile inventory. Communicate and report game results and information to media and Athletic Director, and if applicable return official's vouchers immediately following a contest. Assist the Director of Athletics with security by not allowing keys to be handled by anyone but the coaching staff. Have an awareness of school athletic awards policy and procedures; Distribute athletic awards in accordance with school policy. Assist student-athletes in securing financial aid or college scholarships based on athletics ability. Have current knowledge of NCAA and NAIA recruiting policies, regulations, and admission requirements. Perform other duties/responsibilities assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Payments are submitted to the payroll office two times per season - 1st payment in the middle of the season and the 2nd payment at the end of the season. 
Minimum Requirements: 
Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred. Previous successful playing and/or coaching experience required. Current CPR/AED &amp; First Aid Certification, Online Concussion Education Certification, Online Implicit Bias Education Certification, and fulfillment of the MIAA Coaches Education Requirements, and state requirements. In addition, completion of CORI Form, and fingerprinting background check is a must.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
TLF’s Video &amp; Photography Production Managerwill have a primary focus on managing the day-to-day aspects of the video and photography production division and team to individually and collectively create one-of-a-kind compelling content for all TLF digital marketing, social media channels, TLFapparel.com, and TLF’s App.
Leveraging your proficiency, skills, and experience in creative storytelling, pre and post-production, shooting, lighting, and personnel management to implement best practices to produce short and long-form, high-volume content that meets the growing needs of the marketing department and brand.
You will be responsible for building out the video production division and growing the skill sets the production team, developing and improving division SOP’s, operations, efficiency, creativity, storytelling, and company and product branding for all pre-production, shooting, and post-production processes and content needs.
This position will report to the Brand Manager and work with and manage the production team from conception to final production to produce content that resonates with our consumers while elevating our brand and driving sales, brand awareness, engagement, and views/subscribers/followers.
ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW):
<ul>
<li>Utilize your experience and skill sets to improve the quality of the content from the video production team in studio and on location (improve lighting, shooting styles and techniques and all pre and post-production practices)</li>
<li>Work with the Brand Manager, Social Media Manager, and Video Production team on each projects concept, style, talent, voice, and execution </li>
<li>Responsible for developing a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual production schedule and calendar with a time and action deadlines to meet and execute on all deliverables</li>
<li>Scout, propose locations (locally and globally), and plan and outline all production logistics, itineraries, call sheets, etc for our various shooting and production needs</li>
<li>Develop strategies, techniques, and best practices to continue to improve all productions, editing, motion graphics, and audio needs across all video platforms</li>
<li>Accountable for establishing long-term strategic goals and objectives, developing, implementing, and leading projects from conception to final production, and meeting pre, and post-production deadlines</li>
<li>Develop and build out the video division’s infrastructure, personnel, SOP’s and workflows.</li>
<li>Responsible for managing the video production team, and onboarding and offboarding personnel as needed</li>
<li>Propose concepts and develop and build out storyboards that communicate the needs of the project with creativity, clarity, and uniqueness </li>
<li>Develop and improve TLF’s branded content, and work with TLF’s Social Media and Influencer Relations Teams to grow our social media content, awareness, and engagement across all social media and digital platforms (including YouTube, Tik Tok, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, TLFapparel.com and TLF's App)</li>
<li>Develop and oversee projects through all aspects of production, from concept to completion and ensure quality is up to brand standards.</li>
<li>Develop and implement briefs, pitch decks, mood boards, and storyboards that communicate the vision and goals of each project</li>

<li>Highly skilled at directing and managing talent on set and/or location to achieve the needs of the shoot</li>

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>BA Degree from an accredited institution; with an emphasis on video production/film (or a related field of study)</li>
<li>A minimum of 5 years experience managing a full-time production / creative team with a minimum of at least 3 people</li>
<li>A minimum of 5 years experience in brand and consumer marketing (preferably with D2C (Direct To Consumer) experience</li>
<li>A minimum of 5 years of E-commerce production experience (to include: studio and set lighting, props, and talent directing)</li>
<li>A minimum of 7 years experience in editing with Premier and After Effects</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of the athletic apparel/fitness industry and trends in the marketplace</li>
<li>Strong management, leadership, and mentoring skills, with a proven ability to manage a team, communicate ideas effectively, and provide constructive criticism that positively encourages your team to perform at the highest level</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Extremely organized with a high level of attention to detail</li>
