The Opportunity
Basemakers is seeking a full-time, outside field sales representative for one of ourPhoenix, Arizonaterritories to join our Elite, INC 500 team! (Commuting in routes daily around Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, and Apache Junction.) Our field representatives are the heartbeat of the organization. As an independent and highly collaborative role, you will visit 6-8 grocery stores per day, using theBasemakers' Wayto improve the in-store presence of brands. Working with brand products and grocery store decision-makers, you will leverage relationships and work to become a trusted advisor while increasing brand's sales velocity through problem-solving. As a self-motivated, high-achieving, team-oriented, and coachable person, most importantly, you will operate with the utmost integrity as you represent both brands and Basemakers in the community.
 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Work 100% of the time in the field from your vehicle and in grocery stores merchandising and selling for multiple brands.</li>
<li>Work the hours required each week to visit every store on a specified route, generally as frequently as 2-3 times a month.</li>
<li>Work Monday-Friday, with work beginning in early morning hours or, if necessary, no later than 9:00 AM. You may be asked or expected to work on Saturday or Sunday to make-up time missed during the workweek if necessary.</li>
<li>Work independently with little supervision while collaborating with grocery store managers, brand-company representatives, and internally with Basemakers' Brand Partner Managers, District Managers and Sales Directors.</li>
<li>Capture brand data (e.g., photos, typing notes, filling out forms) as the feet on the ground, in-store for our brand partners using mobile phone apps (Repsly, Slack).</li>
<li> Take full ownership of all in-store presence for our brands. This includes improving the in-store presence of brands through display execution, void filling, off-shelf displays &amp; placements, relationships with grocery managers, performing and working collaboratively on effective merchandising and selling points (secondary/tertiary placements, proper shelf management positions, rack, equipment, POS placements), and understanding real in-store needs and pain points through asking questions and being willing to help store staff when applicable. </li>

Who You Are (Qualifications)

Physical Requirements
Our field reps work at periodically moderate to high levels of physical activity including standing, walking, reaching and grasping. You will be expected to climb ladders, bend and kneel to obtain and move products around the store. You should be able to lift 10 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
 
Compensation
$54,616 OTE at average commission levels:

Our Service Technicians install and service the equipment associated with commercial doors &amp; docks. Providing the best customer service in the industry allows us to continue raising the bar on what quality service looks like. 
What you can expect to do:
<ul>
<li>Perform new installs and service on dock equipment</li>
<li>Install and service electrical and hydraulic equipment to meet manufacturer standards</li>
<li>Fabricate brackets and mounts using welders and power tools</li>
<li>Weld onsite to repair docks, levelers, bumpers, rolling and sectional doors, and secure brackets to mounting posts</li>
<li>Ensure a safe environment by monitoring the dock area and clearing debris, tools, and equipment from the job site </li>
<li>Utilize tech support for troubleshooting equipment</li>
<li>Thoroughly document all work performed and make recommendations for repairs</li>
</ul>

Switchgear Project Manager Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Preparing accurate quotations and pricing. </li>
<li>Preparing detailed quotes and proposals for customers.</li>
<li>Providing best in class customer service.</li>
<li>Communicating with clients professionally and responding to all inquiries promptly.</li>
<li>Ensuring each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard.</li>
<li>Outlining timescales, costs and resources needed to design and deliver an electrical operations project.</li>
<li>Sharing regular progress reports with the client and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Participating in client calls reviewing project status and action plans</li>
<li>Resolving any issues or delays.</li>
<li>Ensuring all projects have the proper materials needed for completion.</li>
<li>Working with outside sales team to win projects.</li>
<li>Compiling O&amp;M Manuals and Submittals for open projects.</li>

Switchgear Project Manager Skills and Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of switchgear, motor control centers, panelboards, breakers, etc.</li>
<li>Experience in the electrical distribution industry</li>
<li>Familiarity with major brands in the industry (Siemens, ABB, Eaton, Sq D).</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills.</li>
<li>Ability to negotiate, problem solve, and close with customers. </li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including phone and email.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced, diverse, and growth-oriented environment.</li>
<li>Ability to work under tight deadlines. </li>
<li>Strong mathematical and analytical skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal formats. </li>
<li>Proven proficiency in general personal computer applications, as well as in the use of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel. </li>
<li>Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently. </li>
<li>Willingness and eagerness to gain product and service knowledge. </li>
<li>Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.</li>
