Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) supporting Crane Clean Energy Center located in Middletown, PA.
The primary purpose of this position is to train and prepare to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor who holds a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO)License. Upon completion of training the candidate will be fully licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to supervise the licensed activities of licensed reactor operators in the reactor control room. They will also be trained to directly supervise bargaining unit reactor operators and equipment operators generally.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
<ul>
<li>Attend Initial License Training (ILT) which includes classroom training and examination, along with on-the-job training and evaluation.</li>

Operator, Reactor Supervisor

Primary Function: 
Responsible for the daily operation of the cogeneration plant, supervision of the four (4) cogen operators, and oversight of the plant’s fire protection systems. Cogeneration provides high pressure steam and power for the daily operation of a paper machine. Equipment includes two Solar turbines, two heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs), a hot process softener, and two sets of filters.

<li>Verifies prescribed accuracy levels within assigned inventory locations</li>
<li>Participates in the recount team during floor counts</li>
<li>Utilizes problem-solving methods to resolve inventory discrepancies</li>
<li>Works with Receiving and operators to ensure prompt notification of items on the “hot list.”</li>
<li>Fills picking locations in both warehouses on a daily basis and rotates stock properly. Maintains effective working relationships with other associates</li>
<li>Performs duties in a safe manner, using all approved safety equipment as instructed</li>
<li>Maintains a neat and orderly work area</li>
<li>Actively participates in and supports teamwork and continuous process improvement</li>

Qualifications of Material Handlers:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education</li>
<li>At least 18 years of age or older</li>
<li>Previous experience as a CDL driver preferred, will require additional support for off-site warehouse and driving a short truck&nbsp;</li>
<li>Three months or equivalent experience in inventory control with a strong math and organizational skills</li>
<li>An understanding of materials flow is preferred. Computer knowledge helpful</li>
<li>Must be able to obtain forklift certification</li>
<li>Ability to effectively use power jack, pallet jack, calculator, electronic counting scale, 2-wheel hand cart, computer terminal, ladder, reach truck, order picker, RF data collection gun, automatic shrink wrapper</li>
<li>Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. continuously and occasionally up to 75 lbs., sometimes in difficult work positions</li>
<li>Must perform job with a high level of accuracy and follow standard procedures for completing inventory transactions</li>

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Manufacturing Assembly Technician will play a crucial part in ensuring team production quantity and quality goals are met daily. This includes performing a variety of precision assembly and part transformation operations while ensuring high-quality standards and efficient production timelines are met. The Manufacturing Technician works in close collaboration with the other key collaborators of the manufacturing team to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembly:
<ul>
<li>Assist in the assembly and testing of products according to specifications and quality standards</li>
<li>Conduct routine inspections of equipment and components to ensure functionality</li>
</ul>
Productivity:
<ul>
<li>Accurately log production time and quantities using time keeping and labor report software (LYNQ)</li>
<li>Read thoroughly all “travelers” (work order) </li>
<li>Maintain production and maintenance logs accurately and in a timely manner</li>
<li>Proactively manage time and tasks to ensure consistent productivity during shifts, minimizing workflow interruptions or delays to maintain smooth production operations.</li>
<li>Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency, and ensure timely completion of manufacturing goals, while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and waste reduction.</li>
</ul>
Safety &amp; Environmental:
<ul>
<li>Comply with environmental, health, safety, and other plant guidelines.</li>
</ul>
Quality:
<ul>
<li>Perform regular inspections and quality checks on products and processes, ensuring all work meets established standards and specifications, while promptly identifying and addressing any defects or deviations to maintain the highest level of product quality.</li>

<li>Must be able to train others in those 3 operations. </li>
<li>Computer literacy</li>
</ul>
Manufacturing Technician III
Responsibilities (in addition to level I &amp;II duties):
<ul>
<li>Must be able to proficiently run all 4 core operations (Tumbling, Laser, Assembly, Gripping)</li>
<li>Must be able to train other in those 4 areas.</li>
<li>Ability to sign off on quality checks at laser operation.</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS &amp; ABILITIES
Education:
Highschool diploma or GED preferred.
 
Experience:
1-3 years of manufacturing experience is desirable. 
1-3 years of assembly work is desirable.
Must be able to focus and complete repetitive tasks. 
Must be able to work independently with minimum oversight. 
Familiarity with quality control processes and safety regulations.

Work Schedule: 40 hours / week
Physical Conditions of Employment:
Kneel, crouch, reach, climb, walk, constant use of hands.

Tools Utilized:
Loup, hand files, power tools, calipers, micrometer, optical comparator, and other hand tools.
Environmental Conditions of employment:
The position will perform most of the work in the manufacturing CNC machining area. 
Exposure to loud noises, dust, oils, and solvents.
