Job Description 
 As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Government Site in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. This position involves driving and carrying a firearm as part of your daily responsibilities. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication, demonstrating our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity while helping to create a secure environment for all.

What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address each situation.</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity.</li>
<li>Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any suspicious behavior or potential threats to the appropriate authorities and/or Allied Universal management.</li>
<li>Assist with access control by verifying identification and authorizations as required by site protocols.</li>
<li>Prepare written reports and documentation related to incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.</li>
<li>Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.</li>
<li>Support a secure environment by monitoring entrances, exits, and other critical areas at the location.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.</li>
<li>Be at least 21 years of age.</li>
<li>A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.</li>
<li>An armed guard card or license is preferred.</li>
<li>This is primarily a driving post, which is preferred.</li>
<li>Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li>
<li>Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li>

Shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am | Overnight Shift
 
As an Overnight Youth Monitor | Life Skills team member, you will:
<ul>
<li>Interact meaningfully with clients.</li>
<li>Complete security calls to night supervisor.</li>
<li>Maintain regular communication with co-worker(s).</li>
<li>Supervise morning routine; observes client behavior and intervenes appropriately.</li>
<li>Ensure client location.</li>
<li>Conduct and document random/unpredictable head counts/bed checks.</li>
<li>Conduct outside building security checks.</li>
</ul>
 
Hiring Requirements:

<li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License.</li>
