Trailer Mechanic Opportunity Summary:

The Trailer Mechanic repairs trucks, trailers, and other motorized company vehicles. Mechanics repair virtually any part of the vehicle or specialize in trucking or refrigeration mechanics. This type of work involves the use of special equipment and tools to perform inspections and needed repairs or refurbishments to trucks and trailers. The mechanic will also evaluate and verify that all repairs function properly.

Job Duties:

• Examines vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction. \n • Services, repairs, adjusts, and tests machines and devices with moving parts and equipment to ensure they operate primarily based on mechanical principles. \n • Repairs, relines, replaces, and adjusts brakes. \n • Observes and tests system operations using gauges and instruments. \n • Dismantles malfunctioning systems and tests components using mechanical and pneumatic testing equipment. \n • Adjusts and replaces worn or defective mechanisms and parts and reassembles repaired systems. Follows checklists to ensure all important parts are examined, including belts, hoses, steering systems, spark plugs, brakes and fuel systems, wheel bearings, and other potentially troublesome areas are repaired and replaced as needed. \n • Evaluates and adjusts repaired systems to meet the manufacturer's performance specifications. \n • Performs routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups. \n • Overhauls or replaces carburetors, blowers, generators, distributors, starters, and pumps. \n • Repairs and services air conditioning, heating, engine-cooling, and electrical systems. \n • Repairs or replaces shock absorbers and aligns vehicles' front ends. \n • Complies with established security and safety policies and procedures. \n • Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

Work Experience &amp; Qualifications:

• Effective communication skills both verbal and written. \n • One to three years of automotive mechanic experience, preferred. \n • Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED). \n • Knowledge of the practical application of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. \n • Knowledge of safety methods in working with hazardous waste materials and maintaining a safe work environment. \n • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote safe and secure technical operations within the vehicular mechanical field. \n • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction and repair of truck and trailer systems. \n • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software including applications and programming.

Position Overview:
The Power Generation Territory Sales Manager is responsible for delivering new business opportunities, providing account management, and developing on-going business relationships with all existing and prospective customers and partners including but not limited to engineering firms, general, electrical, and mechanical contractors, electrical distributors and other resellers, and end users in appropriate market segments and verticals. Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
· Sell stationary and mobile generators, microgrid controls, battery energy storage systems, automatic transfer switches, switchgear, and required ancillary equipment and concurrent services
· Prospect new leads and new business relationships with key end-users, key electrical engineers, and electrical contractors for the purpose of developing and maintaining relationships that lead to growing and profitable equipment, start-up, and service contract sales
· Develop leads for the sale of preventive maintenance services on Generac, Eaton and 3rd party power equipment: generators, ATS and switchgear
· Read plans and specifications to properly configure and price generator systems
· Prepare and present pricing proposals and perform all necessary follow-up activities
· Prepare submittal and drawing packages in support of proposed equipment and services
· Work with customer service, project management, and service teams to coordinate all necessary post-order sales administrative tasks: order entry, credit, scheduling, start-up, commissioning, billing/invoicing, and turn-over
· Use manufacturer educational seminar programs, customer-factory fly-ins, webinars, conferences/tradeshows, and other resources to improve Generac brand awareness and create affinity for the products among potential buyers
· Participate in industry groups and associations that potential customers attend to assist in relationship development, discover new opportunities, and be an expert in the field
· Develop business relationships with key supplier personnel to ensure products meet customers' needs, are efficiently built, and delivered as required by customers
· Assist the service group as needed to troubleshoot product and service-related issues by being the bridge between customers and manufacturers

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and our trusted supplier partners. You will need to understand your customer’s unique hydraulic system and overall motion control needs then provide tailored solutions for expansion projects or to enhance operational efficiency.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Sales Growth and Account Development:

<li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial sector to expand the customer base.</li>
<li>Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share and increase revenue from existing accounts.</li>
<li>Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential customers.</li>

Customer Relationship Management:

Technical Expertise:

Quotation &amp; Proposal Generation:

Sales Reporting:

<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and project status within Evolutions CRM program.</li>
<li>Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the management team and to trusted supplier partners.</li>

Requirements:
Qualifications

<li>Proven track record in industrial sales, preferably in hydraulics or a related field.</li>

In addition of that, develop other customer accounts inside assigned territory. <li>Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of the company's bearing and engineering solutions.</li>

Technical Consultation and Solution Development:

<li>Provide technical expertise and support to customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and technical challenges.</li>

<li>Discuss with customers how we can collaborate to enhance performance expectations upon application and engineering requirements.</li>

<li>Gather customer specifications, drawings, and engineering data which must be addressed to Engineering for analysis and as a result customized solutions. </li>

<li>Work closely with the company's engineering team to join the process of customized products developing to meet client needs.</li>
</ul>

<li>Submit technical proposals, quotations, and bids for customers (end users, purchasing), ensuring accuracy and alignment with their requirements and procedures.</li>

Sales Indicators and Business Development:
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new segment markets, facilities and customer management areas along production line.</li>
</ul>

<li>Conduct regular sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.</li>

<li>Collaborate with the sales team and other departments (Quality Control, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Management) to optimize sales processes, enhance customer experience, and drive business growth.</li>
