Main Ingredients of the Job

Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times
</li>

Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas

Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures

Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
</li>

Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience

<li>
Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection

Physical Requirements
<ul>

Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required

Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required

What You Bring to the Table
<ul>
<li>
Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
</li>
<li>
Must be at least 21 years of age
</li>
<li>
Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
</li>
<li>
Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
</li>
<li>
Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
</li>
<li>
Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries,&nbsp; and to enter information on reports and records.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.&nbsp; The expected base rate for this role is between $33.95 and $38.20.

Top-Notch Equipment &amp; Terminals
You'll be driving equipment that's never older than three years, with a fleet of mostly Peterbilt 579s, plus Internationals and Freightliners. All trucks come with inverters, fridges, and Qualcomm systems. Take your truck and trailer home - just ensure secure parking unless you live within 50 miles of a terminal.
We have terminals in Tontitown, AR; Laredo, TX; Irving, TX; North Jackson, OH; and Charlotte, NC.
Benefits &amp; Bonuses
Albany Trucking offers comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. A 401K retirement plan with a company match is also available. Drivers receive one week of paid vacation after their first year, two weeks after two years, and up to three weeks after five years. Detention and layover pay are available and vary by customer. Orientation consists of a three-day session, with meals and transportation provided, and drivers are paid $200 for completing it.
Pet &amp; Rider Policies For those in lease-purchase positions, Albany allows dogs of any size with no weight restrictions. Company solo drivers, however, are not permitted to have pets. Riders are welcome-immediate family members must be at least 13 years old, and non-family riders must be 18 or older.

We are seeking a dependable and efficient truck driver who possesses a great deal of physical and mental stamina able to withstand long hours on the road. Must be organized, detailed oriented, and comfortable working independently. A clean driving record is a must.

Key Responsibilities:
