Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) supporting Calvert Cliffs Generating Station located in Lusby, MD.&nbsp;
The primary purpose of this position is to train and prepare to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor who holds a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO)License. Upon completion of training the candidate will be fully licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to supervise the licensed activities of licensed reactor operators in the reactor control room. They will also be trained to directly supervise bargaining unit reactor operators and equipment operators generally.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities

 Precision work and care required preventing major damage to components or unit. Operators work at heights up to approximately 18 feet. Top Yoke operation presents additional hazards because of sharp edges on steel. Assembly operations require mental and visual concentration to ensure compliance with engineering and quality specifications. S/he must be able to work in confined spaces, including working inside tanks.

• Read and interpret machinery and component drawings, circuit/logic diagrams &amp; schematics, maintenance manuals, and parts catalogues to enable maintenance and diagnostics
• Identify and recommend improvements to production equipment and maintenance procedures. Research and implement improvements.
• Suggest improvements to work instructions to optimise the electrical installation / maintenance strategy
• Coordinate preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities with Production Staff, regularly communicating and interfacing with Production Leaders, Team Leaders, and Production Operators.
