Summary:
 
We are looking for a skilled Installation Supervisor for Overhead Cranes and Structures. 
 
This position will generally display the following skills:
 
Safe use of personal protective gear, hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for the erection of heavy steel members and steel sheet cladding of metal buildings. Raise, place, and connect steel columns, girders, and other structural members to form completed crane systems. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Opportunities for advancement depend upon performance.

<li>Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods</li>
<li>Welding certification in AWS D1.1 or AWS D14.1 preferred, or prior certification held</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required</li>
<li>Extensive rigging experience required</li>
<li>OSHA 30 certification preferred</li>
<li>Must be proficient in the use of a torch</li>
<li>Comfortable operating and pulling a 30-foot gooseneck trailer</li>
<li>Basic electrical knowledge preferred</li>
<li>Ability to perform system layouts accurately</li>
<li>Ability to make complex, safety-focused decisions on the job site</li>
<li>Mobile crane operator certification preferred</li>
</ul>

<li>Must consistently report remove job sites as scheduled</li>
<li>Must demonstrate high-quality workmanship in all tasks</li>
<li>Required to complete jobsite code of safe practice training</li>
<li>Required to complete industrial equipment training</li>
<li>Required to complete training for tools specific to assigned job tasks</li>
</ul>
Tasks:
 
While not all inclusive, the following is list of task to be performed.
<ul>
<li>Perform all duties assigned by the Project Manager and/or Plant Manager.</li>
<li>Participate in morning safety tailgate meetings.</li>
<li>Identify, mitigate, or eliminate hazards on the job site.</li>
<li>Remain aware of risks associated with hazardous atmospheres.</li>
<li>Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Ensure all equipment, tools, and machinery are in proper working condition prior to use.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean job site at the end of each day and secure all equipment properly.</li>
<li>Read specifications or blueprints to determine material locations, quantities, and sizes.</li>
<li>Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting as required.</li>
<li>Erect steel frames by connecting columns, beams, girders, and secondary members (Cee and Zee) with bolts, following blueprints and supervisor instructions.</li>
<li>Assemble hoisting equipment or rigging, including cables, pulleys, and hooks, to structural steel members to ensure safe movement.</li>
<li>Hoist steel beams, girders, or columns into place using cranes or by signaling hoisting equipment operators.</li>
<li>Use hand tools to pull, push, or pry structural steel members into position for bolting.</li>
<li>Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural steel members using plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, or levels.</li>
<li>Ensure all pieces are properly fitted and complete necessary repairs.</li>
<li>Work safely at heights of 30 feet or higher above ground level.</li>
</ul>

 Responsibilities:
The&nbsp;Mechanic B role&nbsp;is an advanced level machine technician that would be responsible for fully understanding an assigned machine center, while being fully capable of performing minor repairs, PMs and troubleshooting and the machine. This role will build necessary capabilities to take on a mechanic level role at full development.

<li>Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance and testing on equipment</li>
<li>Perform maintenance tasks to include repairing and improving, from minor rebuilds to major overhauls on all equipment</li>
<li>Identify processing waste reduction opportunities and assist in reduction projects</li>
<li>Participate in preventative maintenance program to help reduce costs of operations through PM optimization</li>
<li>Dismantle, clean, repair and test electrical, electronic and mechanical components to determine component-level failure</li>
<li>Communicate, coach, and train employees to continuously improve team’s ability to prevent loss of production and respond safely to equipment failures</li>
<li>Maintain preventative maintenance logs and accurate records of all testing and repairs</li>
<li>Recommend equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs</li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance tasks to identify all potential mechanical and electrical issues with equipment throughout the plant</li>
<li>Rebuild worn-out, but reusable, pieces of equipment, such as gearboxes for scheduled PM’s</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, investigate, and repair all mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic machine systems</li>
<li>Eliminate machine failures from recurring by utilizing the Breakdown Analysis process</li>
<li>Focus areas will include but are not limited to Production support, Mechanical Room, Water Processing, Boiler Room, and Wastewater Treatment Water Chemical Treatment Program</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience; additional technical training or certifications desired</li>
<li>Three or more years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Candidates must complete the Mechanical Aptitude Test before being considered</li>
<li>Prior experience with high-and low-pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, boilers is preferred</li>
<li>Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of bottling equipment, PM programs and SAP system preferred</li>
<li>Must have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors</li>
<li>Must be able to work and accomplish projects with little to zero supervision</li>
<li>Must be able to foster and build a team-work environment</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with operators, technicians, mechanics, and supervisors</li>
<li>Able to read, interpret, and analyze computer generated reports and accurately complete all tasks</li>
<li>Must be able to do physical inspections of equipment that will require climbing, reaching, and extending arms overhead</li>
<li>Able to lift and pull 50 lbs. as needed while performing work</li>
<li>Must be proficient reading mechanical drawings / schematics and OEM technical prints</li>
<li>Proficient computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications</li>
<li>Available for call-ins or to cover all shifts to support production teams as required</li>
<li>Work together with Safety department to achieve a zero-injury workplace</li>
<li>Must display a positive mental attitude and be open to a fast paced ever changing work environment.</li>
