Position Overview:
There are four levels of process engineers in the Process Technology and Engineering Department, I, II, and Senior, all reporting to the area Lead Process Engineer. MP Materials is currently looking for levels I, II, and Senior Process Engineers. They will collaborate with other plant engineering staff, supervisors, operators, and management in the design, implementation, startup, and optimization of various new and existing unit operations, monitor daily process and equipment control parameters, and adjust as necessary to ensure safe production, quality, efficiency, and uninterrupted operation. Process engineers also investigate process upsets, develop conceptual engineering &amp; initial capital project scopes, and make recommendations to improve process safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability.
Position Responsibilities:

<li>Guide daily plant operations using engineering best practices.</li>
<li>Create and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and process log sheets for new and existing processes; work with area trainers to effectively communicate materials to the operations group.</li>
<li>Create and maintain PFDs, P&amp;IDs, mechanical and layout drawings, process control procedures, and design basis documentation.</li>
<li>Provide technical training to operations personnel.</li>
<li>Promote process safety and manage risk through appropriate engineering and administrative controls.</li>
<li>Track and present key performance indicators (KPIs); update operating setpoints, strategy, and procedures based on KPIs for continual process improvement.</li>
<li>Use statistical process control programs and techniques to analyze process KPIs.</li>
<li>Identify and create preliminary technical scope packages for small capital projects; participate in the capital project lifecycle to ensure successful design and implementation.</li>
<li>Develop and communicate cost, benefits, and risk information on new process changes.</li>
<li>Participate in the Management of Change process, creating and executing MOC projects.</li>
<li>Participate in environmental, health, and safety initiatives, and ISO 9001.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the project management team, purchasing department, vendors, maintenance, contractors, operators, and other team members as needed to maintain safe, reliable operations.</li>

Basic Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience integrating and setting up complex computerized tooling systems, including network pan tilt zoom camera operations and functionality. 
Operators are responsible for building and reviewing setups, calibration sheets, and essential variables and must have a working knowledge of how to set up their work location or tent, and how each connection works from the motion controller to the acquisition unit (such as Topaz, Dynaray, etc.) and acquisition laptops. Candidates must be proficient at performing Thickness and Contour (T&amp;C) on components being examined. Operators work remotely from the actual component of the examination and ability to quickly adapt to and become familiar with the customer specific tool used to complete different examinations, is required. Operators need to understand “flow” and be able to read isometric drawings, vessel rollouts, shroud rollouts, or any maps relevant to the components being inspected.
Competent in mechanical and electrical problem-solving and ability troubleshoot causes of system failures and complete necessary repairs. Operational knowledge of both wireless and wired communications systems. 
Must be competent in reading isometric drawings and navigating through the nuclear power plant to walk down components, as needed, using pictures, component labeling, and piping configurations.

Position Overview:
The Instrumentation Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining all instrumentation within our facility. The Instrumentation Technician must be able to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of sensors and related equipment, including pH probes, level transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow meters, RTDs, Thermocouples, etc. They will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks.

Reporting and Responsibilities
 Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting the preventative and corrective maintenance activities, root cause failure analysis, equipment/system/process improvement, and timely response/resolution to down time issues.
 Additional Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner and immediately report any potentially dangerous conditions or other safety concerns to the supervisor.  Start up and shuts down equipment in accordance with operation’s requirements, company safety procedures and OSHA requirements for machine activation and shutdown and troubleshooting.  Advise management on machine issues, performance, or improvements.  Supports production employees to troubleshoot and correct failures on the production line.  Use root cause analysis to solve problems related to the different systems on the production line.  Strong  Troubleshoot and repairs electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls.  Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems.  Dismantle, inspect and replace electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts.  Apply knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, PLC, calibrations, and other electronics related areas.  Assist with mechanical troubleshooting of highly automated process equipment.  Maintain equipment logs that record performance problems, repairs, calibrations, or tests.  Mentoring/training maintenance mechanical technicians and production operators.  Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.  Basic understanding of the fire alarm system and able to recognize and acknowledge faults.  Must have capabilities to operate and understand the prcess of all equipment related with the auxiliary services like a chiller, boiler, AC units and Air compressor.  Must be able to troubleshoot A.C. Drives and motors  Must be able to read drawings and check inputs and outputs from the PLC to troubleshoot.  Replace bearings on electrical motors  Follow Lock Out/Tag out procedures.  Use of forklift, crane, lift, etc.  Maintain flexibility in work shift to support the plant needs.  Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements  Associate degree in Industrial Technology/Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance or similar field; OR Journeyman Electrician license.  Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial mechanical and/or electrical maintenance in manufacturing environment.  Working knowledge of machine mechanics.  The desire to be part of a growing facility and learn while developing the skills needed to advance within a highly technical role.  Must be able to work 2-2-3 work schedule; nights; 12 hour shifts.  Must be able to pass a background, physical, and drug screen.

In a safe, efficient and professional manner the Level II Maintenance Technician will deliver preventative, corrective, and general maintenance for the Client. Plumbing installation, repair, maintenance of piping, associated equipment and components located in the interior and exterior of building(s). Installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical/electrical operating equipment and machinery. Conducting routine inspections for the building and reporting of discovered deficiencies. Performs inspections of site grounds, exterior and interior lighting tests, monthly testing of GFCI protected outlets and other similar duties. Monitoring operation of the mechanical, electrical and other operating equipment. Responsible for performing work according to manufacturing standards and following the change process of qualified core equipment and components. .
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:

· Analyzes the operation of various systems, determines the cause of any problems/malfunctions and takes corrective action as required.
· Performs preventative maintenance on all base building and critical system equipment which includes but not limited to: assembling all tools, supplies and instruments necessary to complete the job, performing work with a minimum amount of disruption, conducting immediate clean-up of work area, completing the preventative task sheet, returning tools to workshop and unused supplies to store room and advising the supervisor of any equipment problems.
· Monitors operation, adjusts and maintains heat exchangers, HVAC equipment and systems, electrical, emergency backup systems and hot water systems; chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, heating, ventilating and hot water heaters; pumps, valves, piping and filters; other mechanical and electrical equipment; records readings as necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment and makes adjustments where necessary to assure proper operation of equipment and notifies appropriate parties of any problems or malfunctions.
· Assists with chemical water treatment program of all systems such as chilled water, condenser water and closed hot water loops.
· Installs and repairs plumbing/piping/tubing; installs and rebuilds pumps and motors; installs and rebuilds air compressors and heat exchangers; replaces bearings in all types of motors; replaces seals on pumps and motors; installs and repairs wiring, valves, filters, hot water systems and associated controls.
· Maintains electrical system i.e. controls, switches, outlets and lighting.
· Assists other mechanics and operators with major repairs and maintenance of building and equipment.
· Supports occupant satisfaction processes by ensuring clients are informed about the status of their request in a timely and accurate manner.
· Maintains tools and orders supplies as required for installation and repairs.
· Complies with departmental policy for safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
· Follows safety practices, and utilize protective clothing and equipment as required by OSHA. Know the whereabouts of all emergency equipment (i.e. fire extinguishers, eyewash and shower stations, first aid supplies, breathing apparatus, etc.)
· Safely use hand tools, power tools and test instruments to maintain, troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment.
· Perform other various duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· At least 2 years of applicable trade school or college and certificate/degree or apprentice license issued by the state of Texas
· Must be 18 years of age
· Knowledge of computer systems and use of Microsoft Office products
